I'm not really sure where I want to go with my high hangar next. Here it is. I also have the following complete bots available (still leveling): Lvl 6 Fury with 9/9/7 Tridents Lvl 4 Carnage with 9/9 Thunders Lvl 8 rhino with 9/9 Tarans and 10/10 mags Beyond that it's all odds and ends. I have additionally: Lvl 8 rhino 1x lvl 9 Thunder 2x lvl 9 pinata 2x lvl 8 pinata Then also huge loads of stuff I use in tiers 2 and 3. I've been 'nearly there' getting my high hangar to 8/10 for what feels like months, but I keep adding things in both because of chasing a moving meta (the Fury and aphids) or just being a little bored with what I have (thus a Carnage and a third plasma bot). What should I focus on next?

Speaking of chasing the meta... perhaps a Fujin? That buff that is incoming... looking tasty. So far, even without the buff, I have had good success with it in the mid-range role with Tulumbus, and the short range role with triple Tarans, but I am sure Orks would work well, as I have been killed by a few of those a time or two... The shield is good, but learning when to lock down and use it, or to just bail, is definitely on a somewhat steep learning curve. IDK that it will be viable in TT or not, but playing with it and going against it in LG, and watching people use it in videos of HG, it isn't a piece of machinery to be ignored. Just a thought

Hey Slowreflexes! We play at about the same place up in High Gold. You're at 8/10, I"m right around 9/9.5. I know the struggle, it is a pain getting a full hanger to 9/10.... should be there in a couple of weeks haha. I'm impressed with your average kills and amazing win percentage for your relatively low damage. I'm usually just north of 4 Avg kill, just short of 500k damage, and float in the 60-70% win percentage. Are you doing a lot of clan battles?
Anyway, the one addition I can see for your hanger is dropping one of the Plasmahads for that Trident Fury. You really don't have any mid range except the Griffin with your four short ranged bots. Now, if you are doing a lot of squad battles and your normal suspects are rocking the mid ranged support you obviously can stick to your short ranged theme and be successful. If you are rolling the dice with the randoms, then you might need to round out the hanger and diversify a bit.

I use my fifth spot for mid-range vs a "fun" bot. This the spot I've recently used a molot griff and thunder carnage. This is where I'd try a Fujin or Gareth (if I ever get around to buying one). Having a "fun" bot helps me keep away the monotony.

At lv10 I just recommend keeping weapon and bot levels within 1, as you are going against top tier regardless and every HP counts

I'm guessing you are finishing off a lot of bots that mid range has softened up for you? (that isn't a criticism. I'd love your stats).

In Gold I play strictly solo unfortunately. I'd use my Gold hangar more but, I dunno, I guess I was looking for suggestions for a bit more pizzazz. Funny, but I sometimes go with 5 Knifers just for the extra thrill. Switching to two supports seems weird, which means I should try it.

Just a thought Fujins are near impossible to kill in test server with rockets.

Crazy how you hit 6.6 average kills, I've never gotten past 5. Well done. Some matches I'm hitting 7-8 kills and 600-700k damage and in those matches I'm for sure killing off a lot of quarter health bots. Other times I'm taking on healthy bots and taking them out wholesale, or hit and running them twice to take them out. I would say most games that go close to term and we don't win or lose quickly I'm getting 4-5 Kills and 500-600k damage which equates out to about full bot kills. My hanger looks like.... Rogotta(9) Tum(9/9) Griffin(9) Gekko(10/10)/Orkan(9/9) Griffin(9) Gekko(10/10)/Orkan(9/9) Lancelot(9) Thunder(7)/Taran(10/10) Lancelot(8) Thunder(9)/Taran(9/9) I open with my Rog so I can take one beacon, play hide and seek with the other runners and dodge aphids. Then I useally make a sacrificial run for a second beacon. I use my Griffins when I'm worried my Lances can't charge through the Trident Furies, I know they are a funky setup but pulling off ~10k at super long range as you advance, or flank definitely has its uses. Honestly its more psychological as it causes all the nasty mid rangers like those Trident Furies to run for cover and really has a big impact on the field outside of damage done. No body likes getting lit up by laser lines. The lances are the powerhouses, and I've moved from running an Orkan/Zues and Taran/Thunder to running a pair of Taran/Thunder Lances suspecting more Leos, Anciles, and Fujins in the near future and partly because I really like symmetry. I've also dropped my Gallahad in favor of my Tum Rog as I like it better as an opener and all aspects of it Health/HP/Firepower are likely getting buffs very shortly. Too bad you are over on Android, I think we'd be getting matched against each other.

I didn't realize I was responding to Moody earlier, haha, I thought it was you, merged the two posts in when reading. Yeah, I could see wanting more of a pizzazz solution, here is what my hanger looks like. I use my Griffins when I'm worried my Lances can't charge through the Trident Furies, I know they are a funky setup, and mixing ranges is taboo, but hear me out. Pulling off ~10k at super long range as you advance, or flank definitely has its uses. Honestly its more psychological as it causes all the nasty mid rangers like those Trident Furies to run for cover and really has a big impact on the field outside of damage done. Two supports might be just what you need, or instead of the Trident Zues, how about a Tum Rog as an opening bot. Or Trident Carnage? Something fast to snag that first beacon and play support for a bit before bringing out your knifers? I like knifers, but having too many really does limit your hanger.
