Been seeing ads for bulk titanium and depleted uranium lately. How long will it be before the goons in the suits and the sunglasses take me away to "ask me a few questions?"

Too late... couldn't help it. Depleted uranium and titanium? Sounds like a party to me. Plus, I've never welded titanium... I'll bet it's a 「female dog」 though. I'm guessing it's going to take more than a campfire and a bellows to melt down that d.u., too.  |

Titanium creates a film when exposed to Oxygen. If you put two pieces of Titanium together, over the course of three months, they'll weld themselves together. You have to shape and keep Titanium apart from itself. It also resists creep and has low yield so, making any out of it is nigh impossible.
Depleted Uranium is so hard thst it mainly be cut and shaped. Never heard of anyone willing to weld it .. let me know that works out lol
