What's the Scourge effective distance? 600m/4's Reload and auto-target acquisition like the Zeus cannon .. More like target acquisition of the Gekko. The Zeus' target acquisition needs to made faster to match the Gekko and the Scourge.

T34 , while I cannot confirm nor deny anything on the prices or even what currency they will even be, I don't think they will jack up the prices that much if any at all. I believe they will remain the same price point as the Brits but instead will get nerfed after the initial buying boom is over. But again, its all just speculation My rationale for reasonable pricing - Pix wants to change the meta with them so they should be readily available. Not enough of the dashes than not much will change - Pix said they will nerf them if they are OP. Under the circumstances if these are way over priced at release a lot of people who purchased them would be justifiably upset if they get nerfed back considerably (buying something priced at the levels of a Porsche then ending up with a KIA)
Rationale for higher pricing - Pix put a lot of effort in to their development. They want a good level of revenue to compensate for the effort put in. - If priced at the levels of brit bots a lot of people would have sufficient gold reserves to buy them without spending RM. That doesn help Pix’s bottom price - In game inflation – look at the tempest. Around 2500AU each if you make the relevant currency conversions. That’s way more than any weapon thus far. In summary, I’d say they will be distinctly more expensive than the brit bots but not horrifically expensive like the WWB. WWB pricing would disappoint a lot and would lead to limited change.
Soon we shall see.

ISTR there was something written about Pix wanting to make some stuff available only for higher leagues. I wouldn't be surprised if Dashes can only be bought in a high league (Mk1 in Gold, Mk2 in Diamond, Mk3 in Expert, even), and playing them will automatically bump the MM to appropriate league level even if player tanks afterwards. That'd go a long way to reduce tanking, too. would that also mean if you use an ancilot you will be bumped up? bumping the player up sounds like the hanger based MM system. I doubt we will return to that noting custom battles around the corner.
don't think selling at different tiers would have much affect on tanking. the counter solution would be out in a week or two and you don't need a dash to club in bronze anyway.

T34, I see nothing wrong in your reasoning and you may be 100% correct. I like to hope to keep everything level in terms of price and would like to see everything have the correct price to worth ratio.....for instance, the most expensive one should be able to beat a lance 2/3 times if all things are equal. But it's just not worth 7,500 gold if the current stats on it are right at the release. JMHO

JMHO actually the mk3 with scourges is the one I am concerned about (as in it may unbalance the game). not much besides a tempest/molot bot could give it a headache. it would have excellent range control (scourge zeus lance wouldn't), out of the RDB and trident range (sort of), with scourges it would be effective close in, and partially immune to gekkos and trebs from the distance bc of its shield. it could potentially sit at 600-650m and dash in and out of unload range and decimate the field. if so that's the bot that's worth 7500 or even more. release specs for the scourge and the mk3 will be v imp.

You know how this works, one build rules the school yard for a little while then gets nerfed. I'll bedamned if I waste 7.5k gold for a few weeks of fun

Even if IP, I hope they will not be priced as wild bunch..... These are so cheap they are flying out the door. But I believe Dredd77 ( sorry for mention twice) have indicated they will not be, unless of course Pix has changed their mind. if in fact they are same price as wild bunch, here comes 2 lances, and in the process I will learn to deal with them as I have learned to deal with Ancilots plague Put some Scourge and a Zeus on that Lance! That is on the cards.... Got 1 Zeus, lvl 6 ( never been used much) but it could be useful is Dash bots are overpriced.... Learning to pilot both Lance and dash will be the key.

I don't know why you think that a nerfed bot is automatically a worthless bot, because as far as I'm concerned, a nerfed bot simply means a chance to adapt and improve my piloting skills. Is trashing whoever crosses my path hella fun? Of course, but it ultimately dulls skill and ruins other people's experiences, so if a bot's strength needs to go, I'm not going to complain.

In some cases no level of skill is going to help you after a nerfing. As an example take the gareth. It was an awesome bot before the rocket era. Its still good in bronze/silver, struggles in gold and not really viable higher up. Spot the garteth in expert-champions or run one and count the seconds til it lasts.

Everyone's talking about having "enough" to buy them. Are you guys just speculating or did I miss something where they released the prices?
I Haven't been on the forums much the past couple days and didn't see anything in game.

I finally saw some footage of the dash bots. Looks like they fixed the dash animation and made it a short hop instead of a straight line hover. Looks cool. When i first read about the dash bots, I thought for sure I'd want the Haechi first. But, after seeing the Kumiho in action, I think I'll be getting that first. Will I replace my Rog with it? Probably not. But dashing around heavies should be fun.

CHESTS are here to stay. THUNDER deal more damage to armor. RAIJIN got a buff. NORICUM got a buff.
...and that's all you need to know. Oh, and Dashes\Scourge\Tempest, yes. They are here.
