First thread  from pix fb Not weeks... days till you will be able to jump into one of these and dash away!  Kumiho, Haechi and Bulgasari are coming your way! Be prepared ? Edit: if the scourge is on the same conveyor belt than I suppose that means scourge in days too. |

I can see 1 Bulgie and 1 Haechi in my hangar if they can be bought for gold or IP. The Kumi doesn't do much for me and I'd rather use a Rog.

Considering they are called Dash bots they have taken their own sweet time arriving.
I tried them on the TS and they were good fun to play. I am not sure what is more exciting - piloting a dash bot or trying to blow one up with my RDB!

Considering they are called Dash bots they have taken their own sweet time arriving. I tried them on the TS and they were good fun to play. I am not sure what is more exciting - piloting a dash bot or trying to blow one up with my RDB! Bc they dashed off the conveyor belt constantly and took a long time for the cross eyed pixo guys to grab them and put em back on. |

A lot of the red bots warp to about 20m away from my cross hairs when I try and fire. It's annoying but I learn to live with it. Having Dashbots on screen suddenly zapping to 20 ms away AND the lag kicking in so the bot teleports so far they virtually end up in a different map is going to be interesting! |

But I believe Dredd77 ( sorry for mention twice) have indicated they will not be, unless of course Pix has changed their mind. if in fact they are same price as wild bunch, here comes 2 lances, and in the process I will learn to deal with them as I have learned to deal with Ancilots plague |

The release of the dashbots has always intended to deepen the meta from the current Lancelot/Griffin heavy environment we currently find ourselves in. And in order to do that they need a LOT of players to own them. Given how powerful they can be, if you make them too expensive I would assume that Pix knows they will discourage new players who inhabit the Gold-deprived environment of the first few months of play, making the game appear very Pay to Win. If they price any of them more than 5,000 Au then I think they have lost sight of this and made a grave error. Then again, it's not as if Pixonic is immune to making grave errors. But with new initiatives like BR and Custom matches, they are making some great choices also. Time will tell... |

Something along those lines. Pix also confirmed that that they will not be IP. |

But again, its all just speculation I somehow doubt this will be the case; Each of the shield bots (and indeed, pretty much all Au bots) is priced according to the now-outdated size class. According to Pixonic, the Koreans are intended to be in the same size class, (which appears to be something of a mashup of all three former classes) and therefor cannot be priced as "normal" bots would be, since, of course, none of them match the original requirements for determining class. |

ISTR there was something written about Pix wanting to make some stuff available only for higher leagues. I wouldn't be surprised if Dashes can only be bought in a high league (Mk1 in Gold, Mk2 in Diamond, Mk3 in Expert, even), and playing them will automatically bump the MM to appropriate league level even if player tanks afterwards.
That'd go a long way to reduce tanking, too.
