So I skipped Canyon because I didn't want to play it for the 5th time in a row....then got it again, so naturally I skipped it. Next match is on Dead City and I faced everything from a lvl 7 to a maxed hangar. Yes, it was fun and I placed first on the losing team but not somewhere I ever wanted to be nor stay. FML

That sucks. But since you only skipped a couple times I don't anticipate you have to play too many to get out.
I know Pix was planning to significantly decrease Au and Ag rewards in LQ; have they implemented this?

No BLYTHE, but it most definitely is in the works.

I noticed if you try to skip a map, you will very likely get that same map the next battle. Not sure if pix set it up that way, but not worth attempting to skip more than once. My rule of thumb is play at least 5 for every 1 skip to be safe.

Tank down to drop league points and its a much much longer stay. I think the ethics of the two are different also. Skipping a couple of maps because your tired of seeing the same one over and over has happened to most all of us (even J Khoo had it happen) but Tanking down to game the system long term is another animal completely. Those people are intentionally trying to go after low level players. They are not just trying to get away from big maps...

It's Leavers Queue, not Tankers Queue. While you are technically a Leaver, just two skips in a row seems like a really low threshold. Any recent disconnects that could have detracted from your karma?
I wonder also if you leave during the countdown and then immediately search again if you have a decent probability of ending up back in the same match.

I seem to get the same map after losses... which is usually when I want to see the same scenery, the least. Wonder if random game restarts would keep you from being in whatever queue put you in that map 5 times? 2 Games, restart, 3 games, restart, 1 game, restart... etc. Seems like a lot of trouble to go through though... would like it even more if they didn't put you in LQ for skipping... but hey, what do I know? BTW, I think I have skipped 1 game since I have started, maybe 2. Not because I'm special or anything, but because I just play and don't care really. I like to shoot bots. Once I get over the first 10 seconds of the countdown where I 「female dog」 and moan for being on the same map, it's forgotten and I find things to shoot and beacons to cap. But, I am basic.

Does anyone know if leaving after you mech out counts towards the LQ? I have been playing solo BR almost exclusively over the past week and I often mech out in the Canyon with a few minutes left and don't have the patience to wait for the game to end. I have left a few times in this case, but not consecutively just in case I end up in the LQ.

Unfortunately, that can be easily exploited by tankers who drop out of all their bots in the start of the match and charge towards center beacon to get killed.

Already talking to pix but I forgot about those. Thanks
