do they make it to diamond while playing like idiots.
I'm noticing a Leo crossing over the gully in springfield to steal the blue center beacon. It's only 2 minutes in, and we have 2 beacons. I eject to switch to my lance at that beacon because 5 out of 6 of us charged the other corner of the map. The leo takes about half my health with thunder/pinatas but I didn't notice the zeus carnage that was cooking the rest of me from 400m. My entire team was walking 800m across to save me. I watch them waddle across the middle and not one ejected, I die, beacon taken. Defeat 1 min later.
A couple games later, on yama map, I drop in with my Rog. I charge the center, waste the stalker, take a ton off a griff coming up the ramp and he falls off the side. I look back down my side and everyone is holding 300m back from the center beacon spamming with RDB's, trebs and hydras. Within the next min, there are 2 red griffins and leo coming up the ramp. I'm yelling at my phone while lookin back and not one of the other 5 blues advances. I die. Defeat within the next 2 mins.
The very next game, yamantau again, so I'm thinking redemption. I drop in with Rog and pan around. A trebuchet/gekko natasha, gekko patton, hydra fujin and trident fury.... no one ejects as I'm running to the CB. I get to the top of the ramp and all red heavy bots moving down the hill toward the ramp. I look back and no one even came off the ledge after spawning. Menu > Leave Battle.
What in the world is it with some people. Are these like 12 yr olds that just don't give a damn or get it???

Sometimes, you should let the Beacon go and come back with a force.
In BR I continue to attack a single Beacon. This keeps the enemy spawning to protect it and usually 3 or 4 more come running. It concentrates the enemy in one location and we can capture unprotected Beacons.
Asymmetrical warfare ..

I feel your pain, Joopiter. I've noticed in "beacon rush" that many times my teammates all "rush" to the home beacon and sit there plinking away with long-range armament! Meanwhile, I'm in my orkan Rog taking and trying to hold center as 4 reds march towards me and the other two each head to the outer beacons. Very soon, the rest of the brief, humbling match is spent getting spawn raided.

It doesn't work well when all the bots are clumped together, that's for sure. Also, this is one of those games where you have to pay attention to things. You would think that it was obvious that that was the case, but some people just don't pay attention. I feel your pain, Firebeard.

Seems like simple logic to me with a little bit of teamwork mentality. If I see a guy holding a beacon against two reds with good HP left, I will almost always eject and go help him (if I'm not holding a beacon myself ofc). I'm not saying I'm the Good Samaritan of the Year, I just want to win. In the last 100 BR games I've played, I've maybe seen that once where someone bailed me out. Anyways, just thought I'd rant a little.

I just made a post about this. BR has devolved into regular game mode.
Just a bunch of sissy long rangers sitting back with their thumb up their 「bum-bum」 while you lose your mind trying to capture beacons by yourself.

Was just talking about this in a chat. Another aspect of it is when they keep dropping in center while the Reds have it surrounded by high damage ranged splash and maybe a PDB or Fuji Plasma... and just die within moments of each drop... meanwhile Reds drop a Rhino, Stalker, or Gary and go get our side and home beacons. I will drop at the threatened back beacon or home to defend or retake and the reds are paying attention and spawn help... while the blues keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Very frustrating. Some things I have noticed and wish I could send to my randoms sometimes: Look at the map before dropping. Keep an eye on what is going on at other beacons at all times when not firing at a Red. Drop at a flank beacon if the one you are trying to keep is overwhelmed and get the fight back to 1v1 if you can... Or, drop at a flank beacon in a fast bot and go threaten their side beacon like FB said. Like OP said, help another Blue that is holding one down alone. When attacking a lone Red at a beacon, if he is the only one and damaged... try to lead him away and make an end run around him to get the beacon. Don't kill him if the beacon is still red and y'all are 1v1... he will respawn in a defender bot and kill you. Lead him away and take it. DON'T spawn first in LR or MR. Beacon taker or keeper or defender. Not Butch Treb. Or Carny Trident. Get in the fight. Get da beacons. Don't always re-spawn immediately... if you notice a shift in the battle when looking at the map, wait a sec and watch the flow of battle enough to try and determine the way it is going. Relax... think... act. In short, it can be summed up as "Don't let them control the initiative." If you react to them, you are dead. If you can make them react to y'all's moves, you can predict what they will do easier, and have a counter for it in mind. But, alas, I cannot send ANY communication to my team in game... and so, I just crawl up into the fetal and weep. IMO. YMMV.

Very frustrating. YES! Very firetrucking FRUSTRATING. Fully surrounded at yamantau or springfield by RDB's and everyone is spawning non-ancile plasma and orkan bots into a tulumba onslought! I will drop in at the next closest beacon yet I watch my team grind through all their best (and often 300-350 range) bots into a splash death trap.... Noooooo. lol. All you can do is pray for a higher IQ team next go round....
