I run 6/9 in LG and only see max when squadding with clanmates that have higher weapons than me, or at the very worst mm rubber band times... when there just isn't very many players to choose from... Usually I see anywhere from level 8-9 bots with levels 5-9 weapons. And can end up top 3 almost every time. Yes, the blue teammates are a crap shoot... or, maybe, a box of chocolates, b/c you really never know wut yer gon' git. If the MM is funky at first and you see 12/12, like others have noted, there seems to be a glitch that can score your hanger all jacked up when first changing bots and weapons. It goes away. Eventually Yeah, the other problem is that in silver he probably has a high win rate....80-90% or more. That can cause some of the issues when you drop in a low gold line up and you see lvl 11-12 bot pilots with 30% to just below 60% win rates. I know I run into that issue with my heavy 6/9 line up when I switch out of silver...I can usually hold my own in low gold but sometimes it's a bit much. Either way, it's nice to be able to switch back next forth as each tier has different styles, bots and strategies. I'm not looking forward to being stuck in 1 league because of win rates with a MM change. Cheers!

Regarding unskilled Gold randoms, why not join a Gold Tier clan? I think that would also be make it easier to have fun in a supporting role to stronger teammates while your hangar matures. But more importantly, if you find Silver play more enjoyable than Gold, why spend anything to rush out of it? Why would leave my clan of friends . Our clan kicks ?bum-bum? and we could care less about being a top clan As for more enjoyable.. Yes silver is more enjoyable right now.. Gold will be enjoyable when I have bots and weapons and multiple options to choose from that match the players I'm up against.. Why would I want to play a 6/9 6/12 9/9 or 9/12 hangar when every single match I'm matched against 11/12 12/11 and 12/12 players.. I'm not wasting my time with that non sense... That's not skilled that's just being outmatched.. And I still do well in gold with the above mentioned hangras but I do better in silver when it comes to resources Why move to gold until I'm ready.. When I move to gold I will have multiple options (more than 5 slots worth) of lvl 12 bots and lvl 12 weapons to play with. As for spending gold to speed up upgrades.. That's the entire point of farming I love to farm and build ... i get lots of joy from that For what it's worth, I find gold very enjoyable with a 9-11/11-12 hangar. Sure I occasionally get wiped by a full squad of 12/12 but it's not that bad. Tbh, I don't think my -5% damage and -15% hp is a giant problem. EDIT: After having played somewhere in Gold for... 4-5 months or so, I have a somewhat different opinion of what bots and weapons I want to max - aren't you concerned of levelling something to 12 and finding out that you'd rather use something else?

And yeah, MM plays a part... as I understand it... and maybe that is why I don't get the crazy matches anymore... I hover between 70 and 80%. Granted, I am, lately, changing out bots and weapons every few games unless squadding, so I prolly have times when I am supposed to be in HS but am still in LG, IDK, the skill level for both "tiers" is so similar that I don't really notice a few weapon or bot levels. I agree with that though... I don't want to be stuck to a tier either. That is why I wanted hard weapon level caps for each tier... I know it isn't feasible, but damn, it makes more sense. To my little brain, anyway.
