I know my Gep is too high and puts me in a higher tier but I done did it so no sense crying about it, I still use him because he's fun to drive. I do have a lvl 6 Griff and lvl 5 going on six Rhino and 5 Mags as well as some machine guns that I've started to upgrade in storage. Just kinda curious of where I might go next. I've only been playing like 2 months so not trying to take on the gold vetearns just yet but I'm not a clubber or farmer either, just want good fun games

Looks pretty good to me. 2 beacon cappers seems a bit much, so I'd drop either the Gepard or the Cossack for another knife-fighter (what other weapons/bots do you have available?). Also, you're mixing your ranges with your Golem. May want to sub Tulus and CRV-Pins in for the plasma to make it your mid-ranger.

Been playing two months and you have your 5th slot, a Gepard and over 3k in Gold weapons, nice!
I'm by no means an expert on the tiers and have for the most part followed the alternating upgrading weapons, then bots, to the same level but it looks like you are solidly high silver and the medium bot tax is probably bringing them in line with your Gepard.
Given your Bot/Damage/Win numbers that seems to make sense, competitively and comfortably in your tier. Are you seeing heavies in your matches? What do the hangers of your opponents often look like?

I am a knife fighter, the only reason that trident is on my Golem is for things like end of match coming and I need to scrape for some last damage before time runs out, or to get some damage in on my way over to stick some plasma up their arse. My other notable weapons are listed above, not much else. Thanks Zman.....yes, I do see heavies. Usually they're Griffs with lvl 5-8 rockets or bullets. A rare low Rhino and a few Fujin but a ton of Stalkers, Nattys, Vits, Boas and Golems. The lvl averages on them are around 6-7 with weapons the same. I do get hit with lvl 8-9 weapons and bots from time to time but it's not frequent. Also, it seems my opponents are all lower to mid twenties themselves.

Hey man The one thing I see is that as you progress you can actually lead with the Gepard. Then you can free up the the cossack slot and add a Thunderer/Orkan Boa (which is actually my preferred lead off bot) but I play slightly heavier bots and weapons: level 6 heavies and my level 8 boa and (almost) all level 8 weapons. I am going to drop one of my 2 Leos real soon for a Galahad but I realize that is not always financially feasible. The Galahad seems to be what many experienced players love so I am hoping that I love it to.

I do have a Rhino I'm upgrading behind the scenes but if I put him in now, I get murdered by low to mid gold. I already have a Thunder/ Taran Boa and love the agility of the Ballsack . If I were to dump anyone, it would be the Golem that I'm not fond of or the Patton that dies when he gets his feelings hurt.

I still recommend matching ranges on the Golem. Most players find that they get more damage if each bot specializes at a range, constantly doing damage at that range for the life of the bot. It also means an effective tactic will be to get an enemy into your preferred range and out of their preferred range.
I'd say to try subbing the Griffin or Rhino for the Cossack to see how that goes. Your weapons are pretty much ready for High Silver. If you like both heavies, maybe drop the Patton too.

Yeah sooooooo, I changed my Cossack for a Griffin 6/7/7/7/8 and got put in with Rhinos packing 8/9/9/9/9 , Zeus/Mag Leo's and Death button Griffs. Think I'll go back to high silver where I belong.

Alright, sorry about that. I think you landed in High Silver, though. I see those setups and those damage totals pretty often there. I'd still suggest trying it again here and there at least to get Griffin practice in. As folks on this forum have told me, it's not at all like a Cossack, and the biggest mistake players make is piloting it like one. I, for one, was always too aggressive with it. And any time you move up, it's a pretty big adjustment, as you become a little fish in a big pond. What worked for me was not trying to score as much Gold as I was in Low Silver, but just trying to be an asset to my team. Which meant a lot of watching, paying attention to what my teammates were doing, and playing a supporting role to my more powerful teammates. It also might help to jump into High Silver full bore, as Strayed suggests, building up a hangar of all heavies complete with all weapon slots outfitted to level 8 (although I think it's doable at level 7 if you're impatient, but I'm guessing you're not), or maybe 4 heavies and your best med knife fighter with a Thunder. Anyway, good luck to you whichever path you choose.

I think I got a little ahead of myself when I got the Rhino, just have wanted one since I started playing and with my 5th slot opened up it was automatic to get him. In hindsight, I should have went with a Thunder or Trident Carnage . So now he sits in mothballs unless the daily task requires I use him until I have the toys to arm him with. So in the meantime I'm having a blast in MS . Thanks for the advice all, may your aim be straight and your enemies gullable.

Yeah my final prize of the winter thing was a Rhino. He's parked - I have no idea how to properly use mine. Tried him a couple of times and got slaughtered. I'll need to be higher level and a lot better to run that Rhino.
