I tried playing beacon rush with fast hangar: Gepard, Stalker, Galahad, Rogatka, Rhino.
I have to say, it is a rush! Going for a beacon to let other blues pour in. Usually they don't of course, but when they do...
Also very fast games, lights die so quickly. Have to be patient about when and where to drop.
Overall, very fresh experience.

I had a full light hangar. Right now i reverted back to a normal hangar, with only 1 light but others are fast mediums and just 1 heavy (ancilot).
The tactics are really different than normal.
There are moments u need to defend HARD, and a light isnt able to soak much.
Or moments u need to push fast and hard, i find mediums better for that role.
Lights, i think 1 or 2 are a MUST. 1 for getting the center early, the 2nd light instead is for grabbing enemy base beacons while there is the slugfest at center.

Yeah, definitely can not count on other (random) blues doing that. One game in Shen I wanted to drop late (to see if I can drop elsewhere than spawn). Reds beat blues to both side beacons. Nobody takes center. And nobody takes blue home beacon. I mean, 「whiskey tango foxtrot」.

After playing a bit more... Yeah, playing with above hangar is definitely viable. I feel like I can really make a difference for the win.
I'd like to say it's not good, if Silver is what you are after but... Last game I was 4th with 500+k damage. Highest damage was under 700k. So not a big difference!
League points will be hurt with this kind of hangar, for those who care about them. It's same as with Domination really, except BR battles are usually shorter and more brutal, and especially battles going badly are really short and brutal, essentially a spawn raid on steroids, endless stream of reds coming from 3 closest beacons.
Early/easy mech out is probably not hitting chances of winning much, because battle is usually decided earlier than in Domination, and it's much harder to turn things around late. Defending a beacon is now so much easier when you can drop more bots there, unless attacker managed to take it quickly, with sneakiness or with overwhelming force.

I think I am just unlucky, but I never see this happen. Everytime I try to take a beacon someone spawns there to defend it. Trying to take beacons that are already defended means that person just keeps respawning there even if I kill them. Much more so than Domination, you really have to work as a team in Beacon Rush.

I play it with lvl9 garry and 4 knifers atm. I start with garry and usually rush to center beacon, and try to defened it for a while, allowing some blue spawns there. And that is nice.. in theory. Played arround 15 matches, lose almost all of them, my teams didnt care much about respwaning or beacon rushing.. public games karma

Sometimes they do what you think is good, most of the time not. And of course keep in mind the other side of the coin: from their point of view, you are a poorly coded AI player too :-D
