So on my last 2 posts, many still people didn't want this bot to be in-game as it was too powerful with the ability to alternate shields based on enemy weapons. I have made some changes that should water it down to a more reasonable level. This is my third post, and i am confident that this bot will be more balanced now, as a defensive variant of the gareth
So this is a new bot i thought up (reviewed and watered down twice). If this gets enough yes votes, i will suggest this to pixonic
Name: Ryujin
Category: Light bot
Speed: 47-60 kmph
Health: 45,000-90,000 hitpoints
Hardpoints: 3 light weapons (same arrangement as gepard)
Shields: Physical shield protecting the front, (only while defend mode is active). Splits into separate shields while defend is inactive (100,000 hitpoints each)
Ability: Defend (cooldown 1 second) - Robot is left unable to move around, but still able to turn around and shoot. Moves 2 physical shields to the front of the robot where they connect up and become one physical shield with 200,000 hitpoints (damage each shield has taken while defend was inactive is subtracted form the total health of the connected shields). Robot is slighly elevated, meaning it can fire over low obstacles. Has a separate cooldown (15 seconds), where the robot fires fast travelling superheavy missile when defend is activated. (damage is equal to 20% of the robot's max health depending on its level) with a range of 700m and a 30m splash radius.
Special traits: Quadropedal. Is not affected by landing or directional walking lag. Can climb up most obstacles.
Recommended setups: 3 magnums / 3 pins / 2 ecu + magnum
Description: A defensive light bot, capable of locking down beacons quickly and effectively. Can use physical shields to either protect it while retreating or facing off against opponents without rockets. Fast, nimble but fragile, this bot can use its climbing abilities to get to places where most other bots cannot, giving it excellent vantage points over certain areas to utilize it's built in missile effectively.
I need as many votes as possible, so just vote with your honest opinion
