Root ... sticks you to the floor with a timer ... several weapons have this fantasy capability now With Lock Down Ability module, ALL weapons can root/insta freeze bots...for 5 long seconds. Plus, Lockdown Ammo is 100% root, while root weapons may not freeze you. |

E. G. Corrosion works well against bots with resistance. Or, what works against flamethrowers? Resistance...
Then no explanation lol.

Only a few robots have this built in feature. If I'm not mistaken, robots without built in resistance may be able to gain the ability through pilot skills. |

So it is a catch-all term for the various abilities such as the Blitz or modules that make immune when triggered by certain damage thresholds and all of that. If I am understanding, that makes me feel better because I was thinking that I was missing a whole ability concept entirely. As it is, only my Ardent Blitz works there and the rest are in the works. Just sucks that Dragonbreath outlasts Break in and I get burnt to a crisp. *aigh*just keep trying though. The Ivory Ravana is coming along nicely and if I have two charges, I will typically be able to survive, evade, phase away from the Dragonbreath...like I said, still a learning and building process.
