C) keep track of teammates who angrily light you up and giggle at the end of the fight to see them below you in damage and/or beacons and kills True. During snowflake event, I won 5 Vityaz, 12 Zenits, and 11 Noricums. Both for variety and the chance to learn something new about the game, I ran about 8 matches with all base level Zenit/Noricum Vityaz - winning top beacon count twice and top damage 3 times. Of course that's partly because running such low level robots essentially amounted to clubbing against a few players who didn't seem to know what beacons were, but there were plenty of teammates who knew "enough" to shoot me for running a Zenit/Noricum build... although apparently not enough to get top damage or beacons. Of course it didn't take long to satisfy my curiosity about how artillery works in War Robots, so I quickly shelved them and went back to my best bots (6/6ish heavies at the time) for the far-more-entertaining opposition and gameplay. Zenits may look cool, but Pinatas look way cooler - especially when you see them pop a bot.

... so WHY do people still use aerial artillery? Please give reasons... It worked for this guy. He got 3 Au and 2nd place. It was a Level 13 match with Cossacks, Destriers, and Schutzes. I've also been on the receiving end in two other matches where Zenit Tashas were spawn point bait that reincarnated as death dealing Leos.

I've also been on the receiving end in two other matches where Zenit Tashas were spawn point bait that reincarnated as death dealing Leos. That's where most of them fail... Instead of bailing into something that can effectively fight back at close range, they sit in their camper-bot and eat incoming munitions.

Dang - I actually was killed by a noricum today. I was low health in a bot pushing to retake a beacon and a damned noricum barrage killed me just after I flipped it to white....oh the shame!
Just when I thought I was not seeing zeniths, I had matches today where there were a few Zenith Leos - yes they kept my TT Fury in their sights but other than shake the screen and nibble away at my health, not much of a factor. I was hoping even with the buff that players would put these away....oh well. Unfortunately with the event, I think players will win these and want to try them out. Please - just sell them as they are worth more in silver than they are on your bots.

In Dead City I hopped up into the reds tower with my PunisherT Cossack where a Zenit Noricum Natasha stood. She moved away a bit but otherwise paid me no mind as I whittled her away. It took several reloads, probably 2 or 3 minutes but I finally got the kill. I didn't get it, she just lobbed and lobbed and never tried to do anything else.
However Zenits can be effective. I was holding center beacon in Springfield when it started raining and I ignored it at first. But the rain kept coming and my hp was going down substantially, had to get out of there. Must've been a well leveled Zenit and maybe 3 on a Fury or 2 Natashes because when I use them it barely scratches red hp.

What's worse than a Zenit Fury? Zenit Butch. Non stop continuous barrage the entire match, only one kill and low damage. I thought I'm bad at playing 12/12 on the test server but the Butch pilot scored even less.

Just got two more Zenit kills in my insanity Golem yesterday. We had the farm spawn on Springfield, reds had the factory area. Fighting revolved around D, C and even B most of the match. Late, two reds made a push for C (dam beacon) defended by a blue thunder/treb rajin. I pitched in from the center and was destroyed by the red aphid gep after hurting it badly. Don't remember what the other red was, some medium I think. I redeployed in my Golem and was able to immediately support the blue defender as I trundled back towards the action. Took out the gep with the Zenit (poor 「illegitimate child」 knew he was safe below the dam from the rajin) and then began dropping rockets on the other red as well, also badly damaged. Thanks to the shortened reload time, my Zenit came back online just as I got into tulu range. I let him have the talus and then backed up a step and fired the Zenit finishing him off. Match ended shortly after. I had the last two kills of the match, both Zenit.
While it's true that I could have sniped the second bot, I could only have gotten that gep with Zenit or noricum.

What levels do u see on opponents... Bots and weapons?

That is a good use for a long range wep like zenith - towards the end of a match when you need to get fire down range to kill off those last pesky red bots. I know it takes forever to get back into the action on those long maps. I just don't see it as a good trade off vs the other wep choices I have - just in maybe 2 out of a bunch of matches where I could see it could've made a difference. oh well, you are officially in the Hall of Fame for 2 Zenith kills in one match!

What levels do u see on opponents... Bots and weapons? The Golem is a Zenit/Tulu/piñata, level 6 bot, weapons 5/5/6. It's part of a lineup of bots I've been running since the new MM hit where they are all 'insanity' builds, you know, those bots that have 4 different weapons all different ranges new players often sport. I did it for fun so I could ride out the MM without going crazy. Had to actually buy a Zenit for it since I didn't win one in the Halloween or Christmas contest. Having played the lineup quite a bit, I now mainly run into similar bot lineups of bots around 6 and weapons between 5-7 with the usually yoyo effects still in play. My weapons used to be higher, but I've replaced the 8 and 9's I was using to take the edge of my hangar score. Here’s the lineup, if you're interested:

Played several more games with Zenit Noricom Tashas present on both sides. I think I've figured out their strategy. They're farming Ag with minimal effort and tanking their stats at the same time without being obvious. They stay in the bot all through the game when they have far more capable bots with greater firepower in the hangar. To think that I've been wasting my energy criscrossing Springfield and Canyon while capping and retaking beacons. Geez.

I have a Natasha with Trebuchets, one Spiral and one of the Noricums it came with. Very useful for finishing off an enemy that hides behind some cover and won't come out. Also great for creating general mayhem when moving to a good cover location. I've though about another Spiral, but the range is not as great.

Zenit Pin Leo. Used two Leos to get close to this guy for the screenshot. Other reds were protecting him.

At first they think it was powerful that can kill a TTF so they tried and got addicted so they kept on using it doing little to no damage
MLG version
They look like poopy poops flying that they do 36000000 damage to all opponents non scoping them in shots

1: aerial artillery guarantees you 0 gold 2: aerial artillery does not help your team win 3: aerial artillery makes you a sitting duck against fast bots so WHY do people still use aerial artillery? Please give reasons, i just have zero clue. This is serious, I actually don't even know why people use aerial artillery other than in point blank combat. You must not be doing it right. I've taken top slots and much gold by supporting players who obviously recognized that long range artillery support can be decisive. In one game I killed off 4 opponents without any help from other players. Obviously it's very difficult to use these weapons on the smaller maps because the opposing player just has to get under your minimum range. When that happens you just become a target. You need players that recognize each others strengths and weaknesses. As an artillerist you're vulnerable at ranges less than 500 meters. You need someone to keep an eye out for you as you tear the enemy up so your teammates can knock them out more easily. Sometimes this happens but most times it don't. Joining a clan and discussing your tactics with each other can surely help improve your artillery gameplay. Without a clan just keep your head on a swivel. A few pointers about using artillery missles. Pick the slowest targets and stay on them. You just waste ammo and time trying to hit the faster opponents. The smart ones use terrain to hide from missiles. Be patient and wait for them to poke their heads out. Lead your target. Watch your missiles in flight and try to time it so your missiles hit where they are going to be. Some people just don't keep a good eye out for opposing artillerists. Kill 'em with kindness. Oh yeah. Don't stand still. You just invite counter fire from the opposing side.

JS. the fact that potato projectors need that many tips shows how few said projectors can tick all those boxes. My thesis stands.

I find that if I ignore them completely, then between their slow attrition of my health and my typical exposure to real adversaries I will usually die in 2-2.5 minutes. Matches last 10 minutes. I have 5 slots. Keep patting yourself on the back, artillery soldier: there is a 6:5 probability that you'll be on red so your existence enhances my probability to win ever-so-slightly. I'm so much happier when a red chooses zenits over something like tridents. Tridents might force me to play differently or die quickly (or both).
