Everytime I see a guy with gekko's hanging back just flashing them around, I used to get annoyed.....now I just sort of say "ah how cute"......

So annoying on big maps. Leos and Pattons are the worst, and how the hell does someone get maxed gekkos in Gold 3?

lol, get your bots high enough levels, use shield bots, move from cover to cover (everyone just rushes into the beacons with the "knife fight mentality"), and use teammates, they can only target one person at a time (unless there are 2 or 3)....
so pretty simple I'm sure you all know what to do, but even I "hit the panic button" when I see the health draining away, just stay calm and keep moving to cover, and even sacrifice one bot to get near him to wear him down. Not trying to sound insulting, but it's more annoying than anything and psychological is half the battle.... as long as you don't panic.

That easy, huh?! I guess i've just been doing this game wrong this whole time then. I just played a game today on Yamatau where a maxed Gekko Patton sat on the far right side of the map and wasted me and other bots the entire game. He did the most damage on their team and for some reason he targeted me more than others. After he blasted my Carnage I tried chasing him down with my Galahad. No luck since there was a RDB flanking me. Finally got him with my Ancilot, but it basically took me completely out of the game for roughly 5 min. I think a Gekko Patton is more than an annoyance and can seriously wreck the plans of the other team. I'm actually building one up now.
Edit: I should say that this is a somewhat new development, though, after the last 2 Gekko damage buffs.

So basically your saying it take 2 bots to take down a little Gekko Bot...
