I previously saw a progression of leveling and thought I saved it but cannot find it now. Someone displayed it and it looked something like: 4/5, 4/6, 4/7, 4/8, 4/9, 5/9, 5/10, ..... you get the idea.
So this has worked well for me and I am now at 4/8 with all medium bots as follows, having great success w win rate ranging 80-90%, but need to move up and would welcome recommendations on the sequence. Believe I am mid Silver with hangar below. I know I can take Aphids on Gep capper to 12 and stay in Silver.
Gep 4/8 Aphids Boa 4/8 Thunder Taran Boa 4/8 Thunder Taran Golem 4/8 Thunder Taran Mag Rogatka 4/7 Orkans
I believe I need to go 4/9, 5/9, 5/10.... but would welcome a longer plan so to speak into Gold. I have 5 Orkans, 6 Tarans, 3 Tridents (L6) and leveling bots for Gold tier (Galahads, Griffins, Fury). Played a little with swapping to 6/6 heavies and staying in Silver.
Planning on buying a Carnage and then a Rhino(s ?)
Someone has already done this but I forget which "superuser" it was. Please help.

4 / 6 Mediums 4 / 8 Mediums 6 / 8 Heavies or 4 / 9 Mediums 6 / 9 Heavies 7 / 9 heavies 7 / 10 heavies 8 / 10 heavies
A good gold hangar would be: Trident Fury Plasma Galahad / Taran Aphid Galahad Death Button Griffin (Pinata / Aphid) Plasma / Death Button / OrkanMag Rhino/Griffin Orkan Lancelot

I would leave your mediums at 4 as it is a really solid silver hangar.
Get heavy bots and give them the same weapons. Start leveling any deficit weapons to 8.
Do you have enough weapons to outfit both hangars?

4 / 6 Mediums 4 / 8 Mediums 6 / 8 Heavies or 4 / 9 Mediums 6 / 9 Heavies 7 / 9 heavies 7 / 10 heavies 8 / 10 heavies A good gold hangar would be: Trident Fury Plasma Galahad / Taran Aphid Galahad Death Button Griffin (Pinata / Aphid) Plasma / Death Button / OrkanMag Rhino/Griffin Orkan Lancelot Hmmm... random musings and questions: I agree with the jump from 4/8 -9 mediums to 6/8 -9 heavies, assuming we are using Ag heavies as the standard. Rather than going 5/9 mediums and then 6/9, etc., go ahead and get the Heavies in there and get used to the bots one has to choose from so one can better plan that end hanger. Something to consider... If one uses Ag Mediums in HS or Low gold, I've found that they will go lvl 8 and still be in the 6 Ag heavy tier. Weapons can usually still be 9 - 10 on those Mediums, following the 2 levels more than bots for weapons guide. Now, I am not 100% on this... but it is working for me when I run a 7-9 medium and an 8-9 medium, but I don't have a lvl 10 weapon to try those out yet, in conjunction with the 6/8-9 heavies. Now, once one throws in penalty bots into the equation... I get murky, as I don't know for sure that the penalty is still applied to them after they reach gold... I have not gotten a clear answer on that. If one can treat them as normal mediums from that point on... well, would need to know that for sure. As to your bot list, definitely some good choices. However, I think that both Thunder and Mid-range Carnages are still viable up through mid-high gold, and the meta will continue to change, most likely in their favor, as the new buffs and balances begin to hit. The Ancile bots and the heavy hardpoint variant of the shield's buffs will very likely change some of what we consider normal, as well as the various buffs and nerfs that will be stealth implemented along with the HP and speed buffs we do know about. So, all that is to say, that other bots may be included in that list without compromising the overall balance and/or utility of the hanger. Fujin and Carny immediately come to mind, and the general consensus that the Wild West bots will need to be boosted to be worth getting will likely play a part in any future hanger planning, as well. I have been playing with a lot of setups in the 6/9 -ish range, and have had some surprising success with what is considered less than optimal setups. However, high gold and TOP tier are different, and if someone is planning to upgrade so that they can compete there, then the hanger you listed is almost a guaranteed winning hanger, in my humble opinion. Thanks for reading if you stuck through it!

The Wiki's upgrading guide (I would presume this is from Strayed ?) says: This seems a bit dated, as I think numerous others suggest jumping to heavies when weapons are 7 or 8. For example, a post from Zhøu™ from a few weeks ago said: One of my clanmates, Rafazor , has also had much success jumping to heavies when his weapons were L7, and I'm finding it pretty comfortable being at weapon levels 7-8. On the other hand, DogTrail said this:

All good thoughts. I am also dying to use the Galahads I have but got smashed when I tried using them as mediums at 4/6 as they bumped me up too high into sometimes maxed hangars.
I think I will keep the mediums at bot L4 and raise weapons to W9; Then use W9 weapons on heavies with Heavy bot progression 6/9 , 6/10, 7/9, 7/10, 7/11
How can I use the Galahads? I just don't want to bump up the whole hangar too soon. Maybe run Gals at 4/9 alongside heavies at 6/9 and see results.
Other than the Galahad question, this is a good next "phase" of progress toward Gold tier for me. I also want to "play" with a Carnage and probably integrate that to my hangar.
Thanks for comments. Others welcome still.

I run Galas at the same level as my Ag heavies for now... 6/9, and they are perfectly suitable.

And I forgot to mention that I run a level 6 Rhino alongside the Ag heavies and never noticed a penalty.

Between what was said by Zhøu™ and I, if you're able to farm enough silver to go from 7/9 to 7/11, that's okay as well. I haven't tested that direction and no way I can because my main bots are now at L9, but the reason I went from 7/9 to 7/10, then 9/10 is that many of the L11 upgrades are seriously expensive - 13-14M for Taran/Orkan, 16M for Trident, 9M for lights (Mag, Pinata, Aphid). So, I went with upgrading bots first.

Currently doing snowflake swapping (gift 120 flake and get 12h premium, and being gifted back) with clan mates to get as much premium time I can get.
