Okay, so I've mostly been playing in low bronze with my 2/6 Orkan Cossack and my 4/5 Thunderschutzen. Recently I've been seeing a lot more mediums in the games, and sometimes these are in the 3-4 bot/5-6 weapon range, including mediums with Thunders (I thought that didn't happen in low bronze), also the occasional 6/1 Griffin. I never see Yamantau with this setup. Is this just some weird matchmaking or being slightly boosted by winrate (only about 66%) or is there some sort of mid-bronze tier?
I've been starting to play with my mediums (4/8 Orkan Cossack, various 4/6/7 mediums) and I'm starting to see a bunch of 6/5 heavies. On the other hand, many of these yahoos don't know how to play. I won several games for my teams by simply capping 3 beacons, and almost nobody on the reds capped any. Any thoughts here? Just maybe a lot of people moved up in gear due to the event?

Well with the way rubber banding works, you can't expect all the other players to be your level. It is possible that the middle bot was low silver and you got sucked up, and the highest bot was high silver and got sucked down. So there'll be high bronzes versing high silvers.

Dunno about you guys, but for me matchmaking has gone to crap lol. When i play in a certain tier apart from gold i am always matched with players a toer above (least those are the players near the top of the boards). Doesnt really bother me as an experienced player, but i can see how this would frustrate newer players to no end.
