I just hit lvl 30 and am acquiring better weapons and bots. I was in silver 3 and moved to gold 1. Currently my hanger is getting way outmatched.. My winrate is down a ton. I seem to get a lot of teams with no cappers except myself and tons of snipers. I find that 1/2 the matches im the only one trying to get contested caps and fighting players 2-5 levels higher in guns and bot level. I do not want to tank but getting achievements for wins and kills against 10/10+ hangers is rough when you are 6/7. Im curious if i just keep pushing , knowing I'll catch up eventually, or tank down til my items are closer in level. I dont want to seal club, but im tired of being the seal lol.  |

Get a 5th slot first and learn how to pilot the Russian Griffin. If you are good, you will be able to stay the entire match in that thing.

You don't need to tank. What you're experiencing is the system doing that for you by making it harder to get league points per match - or at least trying to match you with more challenging opponents. It's usually a sign of a good pilot.
My advice is to take it as a compliment - and a reminder we can all still improve. Take advantage of the opportunity to watch how higher level pilots move, where they set up for MR or LR (what cover do they use often), or how they team up with other blues. You may yo-yo a little but if you use the same hangar most matches and keep upgrading smartly, you'll eventually see steady progress.
There have also been certain leagues that act like a wall, with a stiff upswing in level of play bouncing you back and forth. That may have changed recently, but still to early to be certain.

Yeah, don't sweat your league ranking. In fact, do your best to ignore it. It's a terrible system.
Just play the game to win (you won't always, of course), and MM will level out. I've been up and down (upward trend) so many times I stopped counting, and I just don't worry about it.
5th slot is a game changer. That'd be my next goal. Try to keep your weapons near the same level. I do light, med, then heavy, lather, rinse, repeat.

metalstormed you are actually doing very well. The system will push you to where it thinks you should be (exluding the filth that tanks). If you can, upgrade your bots to level 9 for maximum speed. Mainly I refer to the stalker. Tulumbas and pins now only efficient if you score direct hits - splash radii have been reduced. So if you are like me (can't hit an elephant with a baseball bat) or have a slow connection, it might be difficult getting damage. The orkans and pinatas are a good way to go for now. What other bots have you got in reserve? And what weapons? If by pushing you get frustrated then I recommend that you do not worry about what tiers and leagues you are. They have no bearing in real life so do not worry about them. As time goes on and your bots and weapons improve, you will start dishing out as much as you take.

If you're comfortable with what you have, just continue to Upgrade your Hangar. Eventually you will be competitive.

I always try for caps, especially when we are down 3/2 early and nobody is pushing to fix it. I have a carnage-5/leo-6/natasha/ fujin-5/ also i have 2 tridents and 1 Treb. I am levelling them as i level weps. Wanted to get carnage up next. Thanks again for help all.

It's just the push pull of the matchmaker. As per above just ignore it and as per above when you are getting smashed just use it as an opportunity to see how more experienced pilots play and what bots they use so you can apply that to your own hangar. Nothing beats experience and you learn more losing than you do winning!
As for people who suck and don't play properly. Sometimes your team will be bad, sometimes good. Sometimes you'll have 5 blue snipers on the map ALL match, and others you'll be in the red spawn with 8 minutes to go. Just try to remember that poor team mates happen to red as well.

Well then run light fast bots especially stalkers.5 gold in case of win guaranteed. And make sure you have 5 properly leveled bots before getting the 5th slot.I bought it and it threw me way up.
Also I would recommend you to invest gold in a fun bot if that's the difference between staying or leaving the game.
I got myself a Rogatka when I was getting hit with boredom.No regrets. Got myself the 5th slot later.
Of course some will disagree with me,but I have no regrets about my decision.

Perhaps you may want to consider joining a clan if you're not on one yet. It lessens the chance of you teaming up with squadmates who seem bent on dealing damage only. IMHO
