And am glad rather than sad.
i have been climbing leagues at a giddy rate because I am playing a lot. However, I noticed the goldIII league was throwing up a lot of bots and weapons well in advance of my lackluster hangar. So after a spate of losses and poor results - getting wiped out insid two minutes without putting a dent in the red team- I discovered I'm back inSilver I.
My ego is a little bruised but I think I climbed too fast and am back where I belong.
i guess a lot of people higher up have spent real money on upgrades or have been playing longer and had time to build hangars that kick bot butt. So be it.

Just wondering, how long have you played this game? And can you post the picture of your hangar? I believe many experienced players on the forum can give you some good advice if you provide more information.

Gold was a struggle for me, especially when I went up the leagues to fast. However, once I bought the fourth slot and got an RDB, things started to get better.

You need at least 4 bots with 6/8 to reliably have damage and stay in Gold. I am still 6/7 in top Silver and I have barely lost qualification for Gold.
Of course, I do not have the meta weapons yet.

Dropping leagues isn't a bad thing. It actually gives you a better chance to win more and grab a little Au. It's probably going happen a few times until you get your hangar leveled up. I actually look forward to the challenges that don't involve winning games now, especially beacon caps, because I don't care about winning or high damage and can drop a league or two without purposely tanking. It's a win-win all around!

Attachment DeletedI also have another Natasha with 2 x Kang Dae a Gekko and a Molot. But this is more optimized for beacons... Been playing about a month. Quite a lot.

I would say your better off but having been in plenty of matches where I've seen diamond players mixed in with gold and silver players, your not out of the woods yet. In fact you've probably still got some frustrations and disappointment ahead. MM is still somewhat of a joke due to the prevalence of tankers looking for easier competition. I really had hoped the issue would get better but not the case. There are other issues at work as well but this will be your biggest obstacle for the time being. Hope you have a strong stomach for that long painful grind ahead because patience will only go so far til you're constantly griping and yelling at the screen.
Enjoy.

The main reason I like to advance in league is the gold bonus. I squandered a lot early on and it took me a while to open my 4th slot. I'm saving now to get the 5th since it is 5000!
I only use gold now and then to speed up an upgrade so I can use my downtime for a long upgrade.
I'm enjoying things so far. It's a pain getting instant killed by some level 8 bot with level 10 weapons when I'm still 6/7 at best. But sometimes they are on your side and you can follow them around and pinch their kills! Especially if you have long range weapons, which I enjoy and think are a partial solution to these problems. If I can hang back and score 2-3 kills in a losing game I can still make my tasks and get some silver/tokens.

I've been in Diamond III for over a week, but I get the feeling that I could easily slide back into Gold I.
But I think as long as you keep upgrading and continue battles as normal you should start to climb. I remember the first time I got into Gold III it only lasted for a couple of days and was back in Silver I for a few more, then slowly started climbing back up.

I made it to Gold III and have stayed there using a mostly 6/7 hangar. But I have 5 hangar slots and still mech out frequently. And the days of consistently being in top three damage are long gone. Trying to upgrade, but you know how slooowww that is.

By completing the daily tasks you will get more gold quicker in the long run if you are in a league tier that is more appropriate for your hanger. I cannot remember the number of times I got knocked down between tiers and leagues. In the end the game would put you in the right place if it were not for filthy, tanking low pond life scum of the earth that skewer and pervert the game. May their genitals sprout wings and fly away.

The leagues aren't a journey as much as they are a house of many rooms, all in a row.
There's this big party going on. True happiness is finding the room in the house you most enjoy being in.
Just like any house party.

Silver is the most fun anyways. Lots of variation and experimentation combined with the tankers makes for really interesting, even if at times annoying, matches.
I miss being in Silver.
