Trying to balance weapons when we have bull「dookie」 like this happening every other match?? This is me getting clobbered again by a full squad of champions because MM found them a great group of THREE DIAMOND level squadmates to pit them against. Oh wait, it must be my astounding win rate of 40% that told matchmaker this was appropriate. Then stupid 「bum-bum」 me tries to actually grab beacons and play so I could lose an assload of league points, not that I should give a damn about those. But come on with this crap!

I find myself in 2 types of matches, one where everyone is relatively closely matched an the other where there is a spread from four leagues. In the "spread" matches I can sometimes be the lowest, and I'm usually checking the make-up of the game because the competition was so tough, but when I check up on the easier matches I've found I'm sometimes one of the highest ranked players with a heavier load-out.
I think we often only check up on the match maker when we have a tough game.
On the whole I find MM fair and I am able to progress.

It's a mixed bag. Solo MM does seem to be pretty balanced most of the time, with a few oddballs here and there. Squad MM is more of a risk, unless you're the Champ squad. Partial squads and even full squads of mixed leagues are more likely to face full Champion League players.
It's got to be a tough order, finding squads for the Champs to play against. It's a small (yet very deep) pool, and when 4-6 of them squad together, finding a similar sized group of the same caliber is near impossible it seems. Sure, there are numerically enough Champs, but they're not all playing at the same time.
Several times I've been in squad, faced a six pack of Champs, lost and faced the same six pack the very next battle. That's when I know it's time to solo.

Don't know why the MM doesn't balance things out. Limit the Champ or God-squad to 4 pilots vs the 6 Diamond / Gold pilots. Should give more even match ups and battles.

It's definitely turned into a "random drop at your own risk" environment. But I can tell you this happens the other way too. A squad-ed up group of 4 diamonds got me and a master level guy against a full squad of champs. So regardless of what part of the spectrum you are on, Diamond or Champ, if you are doing random drops and you get a partial squad with you it could be trouble.

Looks like you're in the dog house. It's a see-saw up and down. In the down cycle if you want to move up in ratings, try to field damage producing setups and strategies instead of pure beacon running (ie. field more meta mid-range, long range builds). During up cycles you can play more normally and go aggressively for those beacons since your team mates are normally a lot better in quality.

Well here's how I deal with this. I'm not a clan member, more a mercenary. So where I'm at, about 4PM is when the clans come crawling out. They ususally have to do their homework at about 7-8pm. So I have a setup I use during this time of day and another outside this time. My 'clan hours' is a level 26 and it's not bad at all, in fact it's more fun in some ways.
