This might be a tinfoil hat thing but here is my take on the buffs and nerfs.
It was all done to set the stage for Korean bots. The secret nerf to all rocket radii, so that they don't get caught up in splash.
Buffs are all on weapons that will have a hard time catching them- while at the same time benefitting them.
I have been experiencing a worsening of controls in this update. Slower turret speed, bad tracking -- maybe it is all so that the Dashes get an easier time and become demi-gods, and Pix' cash cows.

wright, ... they buff in order to shake the ballance so that we have to invest in the new buffed weapons like the new rocket mechanic, after a while they nerf them again and start to buff at an other parameter like the Gekkos or they introduce new weapons or bots so that we have to invest again. It is not about balancing the game it is to "incentives" us to invest in the game - that's just there business model.

All the weapon buffs are fine but I want to know where my ECM/Chaff/Flare/smoke pod that breaks target locks and anti rocket/missile cannons are?

Well done. I'll throw in my wild speculation. Considering how long Dash Bots are taking either they are trying to balance them and/or fix the game so it doesn't crash with the increased game load these monsters will bring. Game glitching however is serious business. I've been on the receiving end of enough BS that sometimes it is hard to figure out if the problem is with the game balances or substandard programming.

I was actually more surprised because I feel opposite about this update. Rockets were one thing Dash bots would've been good at countering, and rockets got nerfed. Meanwhile, trebs, gekkos, Hydras, spirals, Molots, and Punishers, which are all more dangerous to Dash bots got buffs.
From a capitalism standpoint, aside from the fact this will blow through a lot of those stockpiled Ag reserves, I thought this update was a very surprising move.

The update was rushed and wreckless..almost a last minute thing to mitigate the Dashes...or push the new weapons in the pipe.

geckos and zeus are pretty effective against the mk2 and they buffed the former and fixed the latter recently. I think these changes have been very reasonable but it seems like the missile/rocket nerfs were a bit much. Reducing splash is fine but messing with the mechanics too much risks making the trident useless now.

Trident needs at least one of the following: - old distance based detonation - reload-while-firing, or maybe fire-while-reloading (IOW firing always empties the "clip" but don't have to wait for it to be full) - faster projectile speed - fire on trigger touch without current delay As it is now, it's weapon built for distance based explosion, which got changed to impact weapon without other chnages, and as such just doesn't work well as a weapon.

And whats funny (sad) about it is when I message Pix telling them that Orks no long have splash at any range and wont hit even slow moving Galahads or Gareths anymore they message back asking for more specific details on the problem..lol.. Come guys! Ive been playing orks for over a year! Who are you trying to fool? Dont firetruckin nerf my Poo Poo and then act like its all in my head!

If we're going to tin foil hat things, then my money is on what mijapi300 posted. I think it was a planned move to lessen the blow of the coming Kia Dashes and subsequent damns breaking from the overflow of tears.
