Now that apparently Pixonic's matchmaking system is spread out correctly (if mijapi's post was right), here are two questions:
1. What is the league level of the average War Robots player in Android? 2. What is the required skill level and type of hangar needed in order to enter the Expert, Master and Champions' leagues, respectively?
If Pixonic did their MM algorithm correctly, then the statistical rate for these questions should not be too far from the perceived rate (i.e. players' estimates.)
Example in Dota 2:
Player who has 3000 mmr is considered to be average by most people Valve actually sets it at 2500 according to their statistics
Player who has 6000 mmr is considered to be a pro-level player by most people Valve actually has 5800-6500 as the wall rate

On Android, on Normal Queue, average should be Silver II - Silver I with lvl 8/9+ 9/9+ hangars gold 3 is ground for lvl 10/10+ hangars Diamond III, lvl 11/11+ hangars Diamond I and higher: Maxed hangars unusually lower hangars for league levels are mostly due to LQ, and very very rarely for skilled players.

I played two accounts, one is currently in Expert II, the other one recently rise through silver to gold II. Based on my observation, I would say: Silver: Mostly 6/6~8/8 hangars Gold: 8/8~10/10 Diamond: 9/9~11/11, I actually saw a lot of 8/8 hangars in low Diamond. Expert: 11/11 or maxed

Silver with 4/12, here ..
But I most often see 7-8/7-8 unless they are a 'Tanker. Most Gold and Diamond I encounter are 9-10/10-10, respectively.

i mostly watch battle results after every battle, but most of the time i watch the first 2 players on each side, so my considerations could be influenced by that.
take it like this, the players that carry teams (doing much more than rest of the team) on the average battles i see, are the reported numbers i wrote about Silver I, and Gold 3.
About higher leagues, i never reached diamond, so i can't talk about it with first hand experience, but took in account clan members which seemed to have found there their balance spot.
After some points in Android is really influenced by skill, as hangars tend to level out much early than on IOS, so Diamond and up are grounds for Near maxed hangars or better.

Swinging above your weight class isn't too hard, the hard part is keeping your score consistently, and as you are almost E3 it means you are really good. I sometime can reach higher in Golden, but it depends on the day, the hour i play. Sometime i play while i'm exausted and i just slack around shooting pew-pew to complete the 2 daily quests , and that doesn't help at all with league scores

I don’t know about what league should have what hangers, but these days I am fairly sure everyone I play against has higher levelled equipment, sometimes much higher. I am taking some comfort that the machine obviously thinks I can handle them (most days / well some days), either that or the machine is trying to break me, could be the latter, not sure, those wily Russians.

The expert hanger I saw seems to have similar or a bit higher level as mine.

What i see on silver-gold could just be the "not-maxed tankers", and i made a wrong idea on how high are the hangars on diamond and higher.

If you have only medium and light bots, then that's quite skilled indeed . If it is 5 best meta Lances/Furys/Griffs, or if you play with full squad on voice comms, then... definitely mediocre I'm at D2 with 9/9 hangar (three L10 items), and while I'd also like to consider myself skilled... nah. We're just average.

A different topic: I can not believe they are buffing orkan again. I have 5 of them so I should not complain. However, my db griff already melt people like they don't have HP. with another 15%? damn.

The fact that many players would consider 9/9 as Silver level is quite interesting, considering that I saw 8/8s and even 7/8 or 7/7 in Gold. So playstyle and approach to the game also affects one's rank, I guess. I do hope that Pix releases a bell curve of the average league population soon. That will be useful to compare what we perceive as average and what do the numbers actually say.

I'm currently Expert 3 on Android. This is the hangar that got me there: This is my Diamond 3 hangar which got me there last month: I don't think having maxed hangars is needed to play in expert level at all. I don't feel outmatched either. Tactics go a long way.

Definitely not maxed for diamond /low expert android.
Just made it to D1 with just about 9/10 hangar.

Mean is pretty useless. Median and the standard deviation would be far more useful in figuring out where players are clustered.
High point players severely skew the mean upward, and I can tell you that in Android diamond and beyond, you start seeing the same names and teams far more often than in gold.
