DISCLAIMER: Those unwilling to ever spend real money on War Robots need not read further. This thread doesn't apply to you.
Just wanted to let you guys know that the Rogatka is being offered in the sales on War Robots right now, presented as a package deal with 2 Orkans. The listed price is €32,99 (not sure how much in $).
For those of you who don't already know, many experienced forum members agree that the Orkan Rogatka is the most fun bot to run in the game right now. If you don't see yourself owning one because you are saving Gold for so many other things, perhaps this sale is an option for you. At the very worst, if u don't like the bot, you have two Orkans, which look like they are probably gonna receive another damage buff of 15%.
Just letting you all know in case this was any interest to you. If you're not interested, totally fine, but please keep rants to yourself or post them as a separate thread in the 'rants' section.

The rogatka more than any other bot is going to be nearly completely obsolete once the dashes drop.

And Orkan for $5 wow, that's a good deal. I don't get it why the Taran is so expensive? $45 on the 3rd deal. It's because they do a conversion based on how much $ you would have to spend in order to get the Work Shop Points in order to buy the Taran. For that reason WSP items are by far the worst value items to purchase in the 'sales'.

The rogatka more than any other bot is going to be nearly completely obsolete once the dashes drop. Did you play the Rogatka with the dashbots in the test server?

Sure did (on last weeks test) and it was not competitive in the least. I also blasted many a rog into mech heaven on test server with dashes. Not a single one got even close to doing anything to the MK 2 I was in. I was even running tarans just to make it somewhat "fair" on test server. With scourge it would have been a total cake walk.

The rogatka more than any other bot is going to be nearly completely obsolete once the dashes scourge drop s. FIFY. Scourge is headed for an inevitable nerf. We'll have to see how long it takes though. Pixonic is looking to make all weapons more balanced, so if everyone starts using the same bot or weapon, you can expect it will be nerfed. Once again, it's just a matter of how long it takes them though...

Not if it was intentional or not, but I love this type of deal. And it's reasonably priced - $29.99 for a package that would cost at the very least $35 worth of gold.
Maths: 14,000Au / $99.99 = ~140Au. Rog + 2 Orkans = 4,900Au. 4,900Au / 140 = $35. The quoted MSRP is based on buying one 2,500 and two 1,200 packages for $19.99 and $9.99 x 2.
The thing I love about the deal is that it makes sense as packaged. The Orkan Rog is a popular and useful setup, and they're packaging all the pieces up nicely for you. Hopefully that was totally intentional, and they continue to do deals like that.

And Orkan for $5 wow, that's a good deal. I don't get it why the Taran is so expensive? $45 on the 3rd deal. My suspicion is that they have a gold to silver calculation worked out, and they keep in the spirit of that equation. I.e. if you buy silver, it's ~7692 silver for 1 gold. Thats buying 49.99 and getting 50m silver. Wsp roughly equal 1 wsp/473ish silver. If you start making calculations on those numbers, (and those numbers are subject to change, say if you spent $99 On 18500 gold) then the absurdity gains perspective. I believe it's this way to discourage the whole pay to win scenario. Again, numbers here are super rough, I spent precisely 34.3 seconds doing calculations, but you get the idea. One supermodel for in game expenditures to create as balanced an environment they can while also trying to promote in game sales of the apparent best commodity, gold, simultaneously trying to discourage pay to win.
