So I really don't know what's going on in there but I'm a D3 players and I'm always WITH silver and low gold against diamond 2 and 1. Playing with noobs that don't know what a beacon is, tankers and people that always leave during the match, and always losing! Been playing the whole day and didn't win a single match.

I'm Diamond 1 iOS. Usually a Champion,1 or 2 masters, 2 or 3 Experts and 2 diamonds in a game. Reds normally have the same so I'm not saying the match isn't fair but the diamonds are usually in the bottom half of the damage table.
This didn't use to happen - what changed?
I do still have matches where everybody is within a few hundred rating points of each other but its seldom.
I was playing solo in a match that had a squad in either team, the blues had 4 champions together with 12/12 hangars and the reds had a squad of 3 players, all in Gold. Reds were slaughtered. I would have been really annoyed if I was in that squad. How on earth did MM figure that was a good squad match up?

With the millions of players supposedly logging in to this game every day, you'd think it would be able to field 11 other players more closely matched than ranging from Silver to Expert. Even if they're evenly spread on both teams, it's extremely unfair to the lower levels trying to grab a few extra Au's, because that just ain't gonna happen.

I feel your pain.... I am in D3 (IOS) and I am getting my butt kicked for the same reasons. And, yeah, it seems like a lot of players don't know what the beacons are all about.

I'm drifting between D1 and D2 a lot at the moment (mostly due to the current event) Noticing a wide demographic of players, from Gold to Expert most matches. Think it's the event, possibly to ensure low match making times for battles? Meta might settle down when it's over.... I have a buddy in D2, just up from Gold/D3, apparently getting easier to climb leagues. All you can do is grab beacons, get kills and as much damage as possible in order to get the most league points. Having said that, regularly ship -20 points in D1 when blues are beyond the pale awful so you can't really do anything about that. Good luck dude!
Joined in with the squad from my Diamond league clan and played against Legendary and Expert teams, we got roundly seal clubbed. Matches over in seconds. So it could be a lot worse!

Yea?! Will it isn't fun being that gold player paired with you to fight diamond "non-noobs" (HA! paid money) who have max everything.

I'm iOS D3 and noticed this start with the July league reset. After playing my 5 qualifying matches I saw silver, gold, expert, and unplaced league players. Thought this was just happening while leagues requalified but it's still going on (just no more unplaced leagues).
I haven't noticed champs but frequently expert and gold, sometimes silver. Makes for some weird fights to have both silvers and experts in a battle.

I'm in iOS G1 and am noticing the range in my recent matches from E2 down to S2. Crazy. They do seem to be evenish across both sides so it's sort of balanced? If you don't like winning gold anyway...

Welcome to the match making of the LQ!! This was introduced there and refined there and released to the NQ.
And then there was another thread that mentioned that Pix was asking players to report unusual match making bc they were trying to fix things. sort of low. I hope they fix it bc this is not likely to end well irrespective of what dash bots and weapons they have been busily working on. If u read the negative feedback on google play two things stick it. 1 the match making and that it is a p2w game.

Pay to win what? Money buys you nice robots and toys, plus the upgrades (if you have a lot of money). I've been playing for 8 months on my current account and I feel that this game is less P2W but without an actual endgame. If you do better you get matched up with harder opponents for the same rewards per match as the guy starting out. I'm now in Diamond 1, and I really wonder what I've won. THe game is a great sink of time but just like other deathmatch/capture the flag games it doesn't really have a "win" outside the immediate match.

I agree on most the things you guys said, also one other thing about that, well if Pix combined the iOS and Android servers together, would be way better and would give a bigger chance of being matched with people that have similar levels, it's not something hard to do I guess because most the games have a one server that anyone can play on, they'd do it, only if they want! And btw I don't agree on War Robots is a P2W game because some champion league players and me, never paid a single dollar on this game, everything you can get for free, I mean yeah it needs some work and effort but you really can get anything for free, and I think it's better that there are expensive stuff in the game, who wants to see a Butch treb every minute? Lol

Sad that kids now don't know how many free games or free mods of games were so well made.. for free by people in their spare time. How many companies almost went bust making a game they liked and hoping other people would too. Now you have games that exploit human nature for money without real substance.

You guys are the working middle class of the war robots world, and as such, you get 「fluffernutter」ed accordingly ?
