* Using Teammates as shields is bad form. But to be fair, it's hard to find an alternate exit sometimes. I scoot behind a Teammate to reach cover sometimes ..
* Snipers are valued. The fact that you are complaining about them proves their worth.
* Going Toe-to-Toe is a bit absurd. I'd be foolish to engage an Ancilot alone. Using overwhelming firepower is a creed of all Armies. This isn't a Samaria duel ..
Just my perspective ..

"Using a teammate as a shield to protect themselves from dying"
this can be symbiotic ... I will often shadow a physically shielded bot in a carnage with an energy shield... he gets my protection i get his ... I wouldn't call it cowardice
"•triple teaming or more on one opponent." - What's wrong with this ?

"Using a teammate as a shield to protect themselves from dying" Sometimes i stand in front of teammates to protect them with a shield or an ancile.
"triple teaming or more on one opponent" All is fair in order to kill a red I was once told. I decided to live by that mantra from then on. It happens to me and I do it to others.
"Using long range camping bots so they don't have to be near ANY fighting" Man that is why I bought two tempests. For long range engagement. If I wanted to get up close I would go in a stalker.
Honour is all very nice and all that in the right place. Not in War Robots.

oh and yes, backstabbing - that is why I have a carnage with 2 lvl 10 thunders - to shoot opponents in the back. I guess I lose the challange then.

It is a lvl 10 carange so in Diamond it doesn't take too kindly to plasma, so I tend to avoid direct confrontation as otherwise I don't last long. I like using it to "mop up"

Most player have gone the way of the coward in this game. And honestly it is one reason i play only a fraction if what i once did. Sniper can be ok. But sniper dont take beacons and beacons win games. Shielding yourself with a team mate is bull. I have an idea help your team mate by shooting your weapons at the enemy instead of trying to hide.

I don't see how any of this is dishonorable. This is not a one on one game like fencing or dueling. It's war! We have bots that are built for ambushing, e.g. Carnage. Ambush is a very effective war tactic. Snipers are useful (when they're good) and a very effective war tactic. Going one on one is foolish. You're not going to win that way for sure. There are several reasons to hide behind another bot. You can protect them with your energy shield. He can protect you with his hard shield or energy shield. You can hide behind them in setup for an ambush. There's other valid reasons too. It's war! Kill or be killed. Survive any way you can.

I have one of those too but it is equally satisfying to smash them in the face I've shot Death Buttons in the face at point blank distance in Shezen. With my Trebutch. That was honorable and fair, but also very stupid, because I couldn't take out those TT Furys anymore. We lost the game.

Ooh Rah Devil Dog.
Lemme break this down in terms you might relate to... point by point:
1. Mission accomplishment before troop welfare.
2. Scout Snipers - I know you don't call those warriors, cowards.
3. See number 1.

I have a feeling the OP may have fought in a red coat during the American Revolution in a previous life.

Just so I'm clear on what I'm supposed to do: I need to pull my head out of my 「bum-bum」 and start worrying more about my team than I do about myself, but if my teammate is getting smacked by an opponent, I'm not allowed to flank said opponent because then I'm being dishonorable. I think I got it, just want to check to make sure.

Also, using a teammate as a shield isn't dishonorable, its smart. If you're getting in your teammates way while doing so, that's a different story. But there's no reason both of you should be in the direct line of fire if only one has to. And if you're willing to use a teammate as a shield, you should also be okay being used as one. Basically whoever is further back should keep their teammate in front of them when possible to lessen the targets available to reds.

Doesn't make sense at higher levels of play.
The only way to bring down some massive bots is by collective firepower. It is essential to rapidly drop heavily shielded bots asap before they do too much damage. Nobody complains - it is part of required gameplay against Ancilots and Rhinos.
The shielding has already been addressed v well. My Zarnage shield bubble is a welcome refuge for any blue bots.
I agree with the OP 100% regarding snipers. They don't beacon cap, don't advance to press the reds back to spawn. Worst of all they sit their for the whole battle firing their massive guns once in a while. I'm Diamond 2 iOS and thankfully I see a lot less bad snipers than I did in Gold league. They still show up now and then but they mostly know what they are doing now...mostly.

I've taken all suggestions into consideration. I feel less stressed now.
I now have no feelings for anyone. Not even fellow teammates. Like tricky48 said....'mission accomplishment before troop welfare'.
So i win by any means necessary with all the tools available.
As long as I'm last man standing, and winning, i dont care if teammates are destroyed in the process.
Winning is priority.
I don't get help so I don't give help. I keep walking by if someone is getting pummeled.
I can enjoy the game again.

I don't think anyone suggested not supporting a team mate

If you look at your words, yyou may notice you contraddict yourself...."three or more targeting the same player" and "i don't get help so don't give help".....let me understand...multiple player shooting one is bad when you 're on the receiver side and good when you 're in the overwelmig part?

I use everyone (blues and red) and everything as a shield.lol but I agree on everything else except the teaming up against one, i mean it's impossible for an rdb Griffin to take out an ancilot unless you get help from other one or two teammates, that's the team work!
