Alright so i got a zeus a few days ago from snowflake chest, and i put it on my leo with 3 spirals. Both hv 600m range and lock on to fire, so i thought its a good pair. Ive been using RDB griffs, love mid range fight. Its nice not having to aim properly and fast reload time for a change, but the dmg is so meh. Is it because its not lvled properly (spiral and zeus still lvl 6) or theres something better to use with it? I only get 250-300k dmg a fight if i stay alive in leo the whole time, compared to 350k-400k i get with full rdb griff hangar. Im low silver btw. Any help will be much appreciated  |

In low silver a zeus/tulumbas/crv golem can be effective, and zeus/taran/mag golem can also work if you are more into fights from a safe distance instead of close and personal fights (with the thunder). |

On a leo? Zues +3x Mags. Always engage at 350, stay out of thunder range and you should be able to melt a decent amount of faces, stay out of CQC rocket range, and only Aphid/Russian Death Button bots will have your number.
On a golem or vityaz? Same deal, high DPS, lots of wiggle room.
I wouldn't suggest it on a Boa, but I hear Zues+Trident Carnage can have moderate success(Zues Fires twice for every trident load)

That's actually a matter of opinion, If you're using plasma like Punishers and are going to advance to <150M while firing, yes, Thunder is better. If you're going to Kite and stay out of the killzone of other bots(<305M), The Zues is better, with only 5 seconds on reload, firing between 350-600M costs next-to-nothing, while at 300-350M the Zues DEFINITELY has better Dps than Thunder. |

That's actually a matter of opinion, If you're using plasma like Punishers and are going to advance to <150M while firing, yes, Thunder is better. If you're going to Kite and stay out of the killzone of other bots(<305M), The Zues is better, with only 5 seconds on reload, firing between 350-600M costs next-to-nothing, while at 300-350M the Zues DEFINITELY has better Dps than Thunder. I think just about everyone in this thread agrees with this opinion already, but I'd still like to add something more. The relevance of the Zeus within the specific meta that these medium bots operate in. The Golem's (or Vityaz's) niche is in Low-Mid Silver. Go any lower and it's Bronze and you hardly see Mediums with any decent weapons, go higher and you're running Carnage / Galahad instead. And within this specific meta, plonking a Zeus on a plasma Golem means you have a safe means of dealing with Taran/Orkan Fujins, which are actually a decent threat here. (Fujins might not be directly threatening you, but be very certain that your Molot/Punisher teammates will be firing upon him nonstop till he's destroyed, so you'd better clear that Fujin fast in order to free up 2-3 of your teammates so they can resume their usual business of soaking damage and accidentally blundering into beacons elsewhere)The Zeus also arguably outshines the Trident in general in Silver because physical shields are rare (most common is the Ecu) and most players don't know how to take cover or corner shoot yet. Also another great, safer option against Gep Clubbers on Springfield, Yama and Canyon. On the likes of Powerplant or Dead City, you probably have a Thunder Taran or Thunder Orkan Boa in reserve. |

A little off topic here, but after reading ur description of low silver, im not sure anymore that im in that tier XD Usually i run into gareth/i see rhino rarely and most people have PDB griffin, plasma/aphid gepard, and some knife fighting leo/boa/mediums and i think they are experienced players. Maybe some are sealclubbers but idk. Btw my hangar is 2 griffin and 1 leo all lvl 6 bots and weapons. Yeah i dont have 4 slot because i found its importance all too late and im saving up for it now. But based on my current hangar, what tier am i in? Thx |

I think High Silver. I think it's safe to get your weapons to level 8. Not for certain.

I run a 4/8 Vityaz with a Zeus and punishers. Engage at 500 and then either kite or close depending on the opponent's weapons and reaction. I used to run Molots in this setup, but I find the larger clip of the punisher works well with the short cycle firing of the Zeus.
