Given the new MM(and the whole starting over) I've decided to bring this thread back (why post a new one? Lol) Current hangar:Lord of the bricks. That damage output IS from that hangar. No skipped maps. No matter the match or damage I put out in an individual game, it feels like a 1/6 chance of placing first (average 2nd or 3rd) Seeing a lot of 7/7 to 8/8 bots(turned to Swiss) but nothing that feels unfair. Visions for the future: My main goal is to try the true Freemium experience after the MM update, as such, Au is dedicated solely to slots, and I foresee a hangar full of WSP items before obtaining any sizable Au items(unless I can spare some cash, which I will denote when updating this thread). Next steps: -All bots/weapons to 6 -Stalker + 2x Mag(15k WSP): Level to 6/6 in background, Replace thunder Schultz -Carnage + 2x Trident(28k WSP): Level to 6/6, replace first Boa -Rhino + Mags/Tarans(33.8k WSP): Level to 6/6, Replace second boa: -Fujin + 3x Hydra(HAIL)(29.9k WSP): Replace Leo With combined WSP wait time and upgrade time, should have 5th slot grinded out -Raijin+ 2x Trebuchet. See you in the fray!

Good to hear. I'll be eagerly devouring popcorn as your journey progresses.
Also looking forward to you dissecting the new matchmaker that's on its way.

Hopefully the league system will null the need to chop-work the MM. Having a visible defacto for MM placement should make it fairly easy to crowdsource. If it does end up being full elo, there's only so much we can do to figure it out.

Average damage is a faulty item to base player placement in the first place, especially when it's entirely dependant on the other team :/ IE: lets take Aphid Patton for instance,if I'm playing regularly, the rangr on Aphid pat's damage could be anywhere from 50k damage (mostly light/medium Reds) to 800k damage (mostly heavies) in the same bracket...

ECU believer!
Tell me about this, if you please. Why the ECUs in abundance?

ECUs shift the ratio of endurance versus damage output. If you can strategize keeping your bots alive longer into more beacon captures, then you'll get more team wins without jacking your hidden performance rating up too much. My personal playstyle does not blend well with ECUs... but if it works for you, it works. As far as Au buys go, the only thing I would suggest before your 5th slot would be 1 or 2 Orkans. They are great workhorses all the way up to TT levels. On both my accounts, before and after finding the Wikia, I bought a pair of Orkans before my 5th. Splash damage is one of the roles you should always have on hand

ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48Literally turns boas and Leo's into bricks. The ecu's at this level can withstand enough of lv6-7 plasma for the Boa to cross 200M and spank anything susceptible to the Thunder. Other thunder users usually spam at the 200M mark, in which case, they're usually on reload fire by the time I'm close enough for money shots. I play smart, and don't usually bee line for opposition. The ecu's on Leo allow me to take very little damage to get from point A to B. In both cases their HP pools make attrition battles hilarious. Even if the Ecu's pop off, there is still 75k-150k of HP to chew through. Daemon: nah, DBs aren't really my thing. I had orkans on my previous account, the exposure time (3 sec) makes me play them too defensively, taking an ambush approach instead of being proactive, especially on Griff/Boas. Flexibility, range, and positioning, I prefer the disrupt, divide, and flanking roles of combat. Everyone tends to have a battle plan, better players have 2 or 3 backup plans, I make it my job to ruin those plans as much as possible. Probably going to level Molots and KwKs as alternate weapons for Fujin/Raijin. First Au purchases after 5th slot will probably be Aphids for Stalker and Rhino's light hard points. Then Orkans for Rhino's Mediums, Then Zues for Carnage.

On both my accounts, before and after finding the Wikia, I bought a pair of Orkans before my 5th. Splash damage is one of the roles you should always have on hand Pinatas can do the job until you have Orkans. If you're closing in on the 5th slot, you'll be closing in on level 30 too. There you meet all kinds of robots on all maps, making the flexibility that a 5th slot gives you imperative. I'd argue that you'll need at least 2 splash knifer (Pinata/Thunder Leo) in case your spawn or a near beacon is attacked in force, a plasma robot (PDB Griff) and a mid ranger (RDB Griff). With 4 slots you'll have to sacrifice one of them if you want to bring a beacon runner, another midranger (maybe Nashorn Molot Natasha or Molot Griff, as you will encounter Trident Furys and Treb Furys once you get to 7/7 or so) or another plasma robot. Pinatas can be upgraded to level 6 in just 8 hours, and if you want to switch to say Aphid/Orkan Griffin later you don't need to upgrade them any further to conserve upgrade time.
