Use the lock on button and turn your body up until the enemy is at the edge of your green bars.

With spirals, you'll be firing from far away so you want the missiles to do sharp turns to avoid obstacles. Use the lock on button. It's off by default. Turn it on in the settings and you will see a new button on the bottom of the red fire button. This will lock the target to a specific opponent. Pressing the button again switches the target to another robot. Basically, for spirals, face AWAY from your target (not too much because you lose the lock. Just keep thr target between the green < and > that appears on your screen when you are locked on), in the same direction where you want your missiles to hit. Essentially the same direction where the target has no cover. When fired this way, the missiles will fly straight until it's nearly lateral to the target and it will make a sharp turn to hit the target. However this can only be done when well below max range of 600m. Around 500m or so. Not really sure why, but when at nearer to max range, the missiles turn sooner than I want them to.
For aphids, its a similar concept. You want to fire in the direction ahead of where the target is running to. Basically the problem with aphids is that with moving targets, the missiles are hitting where the target was. Leading the target will make the target run into the missiles, hence more accurate hits.
