Greetings Clans Seeking a dedicated Pilot!
I'm seeking an active clan community similar to IGC Tactics that runs frequent tactical squads on Discord (pst - I'm in Washington State USA) and who have follow-through with comms. I suppose the best way to illustrate what I am and am not looking for is to use the following example. I'm not complaining here, just clarifying: I was running a clan with a friend, we developed quick-code comms for squad and clan chat, prepared maps, strategy systems, discussed mechs and load-outs, offered monthly Au awards, tried to get people on discord, explained mission statement, made directed comms to specific clan pilots etc etc. Results: little to no participation, and ignoring comms = no way to accomplish clan objectives. I don't see it as time wasted though, as I learned a great deal from that work even if it was only based on an ideal. So I use this example to be quite frank - if I communicate and share and you don't respond, I'll move along, it just isn't considerate to ignore people. Also, it is meant to show that I am genuinely interested in helping a clan and its pilots become refined top clan level battle masters. I'm just a beginner, but I have ideals. Though I take the game very seriously, I laugh maybe too much, and focus primarily on having fun regardless of battle outcomes or what new challenge is presenting itself. I have studied martial arts all my life and find this game an excellent platform for applying the same tactics, and would like to try and help your clan with the little I know. Despite my excessive battle addiction, I run a full-time business, take care of my son, have a girlfriend, and do all sorts of other things, but I am very dedicated to this hobby and community and want to make time for clan activity - makes the game that much funner as I'm sure you know. The deets:
- Age 43, male
- iOS
- Expert III league (just in, probably not good enough to stay there but I'll sure have the time of my life trying)
- 800+ a week (often battle til 3am, despite having to do a long work day and take care of a 6yr old at 630am, LOL)
- Discord: yes. I'm in pst western Washington State USA, available most days after 430pm throughout the night with some exceptions of course)
- Actively exploring the forum to share and refine piloting intel
- 5 hangar: if you wanna see one or a few of my many hangars, I'll share it in a pm. I am constantly changing up and playing with my hangars to explore and have fun so there is no such thing as my "present hangar" really. I have a lot of mechs and a lot of weapons, which I am happy to disclose once accepted to clan so that Commanders can assess what will be a good fit for various squad tactics. I will also make suggestions, and appreciate the freedom and trust that I will be bringing load-outs into squad with the teams' interests foremost in my cyberbrain. My mechs range from L7-L12 (most are L9ish but I'm focussed more on weapon upgrades). Weapons brought into live hangar will always be L7+ (most are L9-L12)
If this sounds like it might fit the bill, throw me a comm. I'm very respectful of people's time and efforts and will try to be as prompt as possible in my comms.
If you'd merely be interested in doing squad sometime, just let me know.
Thanks for reading.
Yours, zoskia
