Building my gold hanger. What are popular beacon cappers? I have heard Rhino I assume a Galahad as well. (Have both above) Also - Griff / Leo / Boa - rest of hanger I am intrigued by carnage/thunder? Hear it is glass cannon till lvl 9-10? Is that right or never really peaks? Also, do most low/high gold hangers have a sniper / long range bot? I do like to run a mixed hanger (personal style) & I like options after seeing what I'm up against. Thanks! Beacon cappers in gold - I won't suggest anything other than Rhino and Galahad. Some use Carnage for that as well, others also use Griffin. Carnage Thunder - some are able to work it like magic, but generally yes, it's a glass cannon. Melts to PDB setups pretty quickly. Best in tight maps like Dead City where you can get really close (like <150m close). The only sniper bot that is fairly common in gold is Treb Fury. But most prefer midrange bots. Anything that uses Tridents, PINs, Tulumbas, or even Spirals and Hydras. |

Hear it is glass cannon till lvl 9-10? Rhino and Galahad are faves. Durability and the ability to defend the newly-capped beacon are desirable. Few run Carnage or Boa, fewer run Stalkers or Gareths, though Gareths seem to be becoming more popular. Using those in gold it shouldn't matter if you DO have to take Carnage way up in level since, you know, we're talking gold. |

I have one...
For those playing on smaller device (i use iphone 6) do you guys also suffer sweaty/sticky thumbs? Esp left thumb, always gets stuck on the screen when have to take cover quickly. Any remedies?

Way too involved for this thread. Start a separate thread. Also: warrobots.wikia.com/wiki/Matchmaking...and keep weapon levels 2+ higher than bot levels. So... Heavies to 6/8, Boa to 6/9, Gep to 4/12 See link above for more precision and why mixing the Gep in at all is a bad idea. Thansk, I'm currently using the Gepard to cap if necessary, more often than not, I don't play it. I will switch it out for a plasma griffin. Both my magnums are upgraded, so I only need one more taran. Wow, how do you use lock on on a small screen? I use a iPad and at times I fire my missiles accidentally when I try to lock on. |

Any remedies? Wipe it on your shirt. Also, try to use a little less pressure overall. 3D Touch can't reach into their bot and pull the pilot out. |

Ok, this is current hangar. Getting win rate back up.
MY BIG ?:
So is this hanger actually Gold? or gold plated? I'm starting to think by some accounts its still high silver w bot/wpn lvl at 6/7??
Reverse in my Rhino still sometimes hard to find & sometimes I miss a shift, but transitions are getting much smoother in general. (Finally) Length of time in the seat keeps extending!
Rhino should come w side proximity warning
Lights/Alarms/Sensors/Buzzer/Gong
for the 1st week LOL!!!!!

Any remedies? Sometimes a little oil off the forehead on the thumb to make it slide better....and clean the screen to get rid of the dirt/oil/salt residue that causes my thumb to stick. Kinda gross....? |

Is there a specific formula for working out how your damage determines your after game silver? I can tell they're related but it doesn't at a glance look like a percentage.

Yeah the forehead grease thing is a bit gross. Lol. But thanks for advice. Will try Muhlakai's t-shirt wiping though Wiping, and yes, I also second the motion on decreasing pressure. I find that I press the controls harder on my iPhone for whatever reason, compared to when I use my iPad. Generally the controls work better over a longer period when I soften my touch on the phone. And wiping every now and then. Sometimes my shirt/shorts/trousers aren't enough, so I need to get alcohol and a cotton ball. |

Is it for fun, or is there an actual benefit? Seems like you're just exposing yourself? Easy target for zeus/trid/treb support weaps.

You cannot shoot them from up there with tridents, it aims at the roof, and most of the time it is hydra/Spiral Griffins or molot Griffins that go up there,as they cannot be easily Shot. But now with new and improved aphids, you can crush their dreams and annihilate them, as aphids fly waaaay up when your target is above you  |

Easy target for zeus/trid/treb support weaps. If you get the angles right, nobody can reach you. And you can fire away with Hydra/Spirals. But usually people who does that are terrible teammates, that don't really contribute much damage and don't really cap beacons. If they are your opponent, they annoy the heck out of you. |
