Hangars
I am attempting to transition from Hangar A to B.
Fig 1. Hangar A, I believe this is Mid Silver. Nats, Leos and Griffs, often poorly equipped, Gepards and Boas galore.
Fig 2. Hangar B, I believe this is Trash or Low Gold. Am seeing PDB/DB Griffins with L12 weapons, lots of Lancelots, Galahads, Carnages.
Now, as you can see I attempted a like-for-like exchange of the Galahad for the Plasma Golem, Rhino for Rocket Golem, Thunder Carnage for Cossack… all to no avail. The matchmaking becomes much tougher with lots of strong, well-levelled opponents who mostly know what they’re doing.
Issues
It seems like either
Moving Forward
Would definitely appreciate advice on Point 1 no matter what; 3/8 Rhinos are surprisingly tough to pilot and I feel like I do nothing with them. 3/8 Thunder Carnage gets destroyed by corner shooters, regardless of whether Plasma or Rocket.
Whether Point 2 or Point 3 is more relevant is quite important to me now.
If 2, then I’m going to level my weapons and bots as a second hangar on the side until it reaches something like this guy’s: war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/post/14684/thread while farming with my current Hangar A, then do a straight jump into Hangar B with no in-between. I would then like to ask some follow-up questions to ask about Hangar B.
If it’s 3, then please advise how to kit out my Carnage and Galahad to stay in Silver. (I’m well aware that the Rhino probably won’t work in Silver.) I would prefer this as it would give me a chance to get used to piloting and the playstyle of the Penalty Mediums. As someone who’s used to slow, defenceless Golems, the Galahad in particular was an absolute dream to pilot.
Appreciate your advice, please.

- I just need to learn to pilot the Rhino / Carnage properly and learn how to fight against players who actually know how to corner shoot and take cover?
- Galahad / Rhino / Carnage are way too slow or fragile below level 6 and simply cannot function at those levels?
- Or I should downgrade their weapons (Put L5 Thunders on the Carnage? A L1 Magnum on the Galahad?) in order to stay in Silver?
