I love the visuals when I play on the I-pad mini, but I just can't play as well...My hand's are too small!

Computer Monitor Dell S2716DG 27" 2560×1440
Smart Phone Samsung Galaxy S7 Active 5.1" 2560×1440
I actually can see eveything on my phone screen I could on my monitor, and when I actually take the time to remember to look for things like glowing trebs, I can see them.
However, they are not as blarringly obvious as thry would be on a screen around 2 feet larger.
I still do just fine though.

I bought my youngest son a new ipad for Christmas in 2015. It had all the features that a growing boy with nonverbal autism needed. When that happened, we had an extra iPad now floating around.. a 2nd gen with the 64gb storage. So, I got that, never thinking that I'd need an iPad for anything. Then, War Robots was found. So, that being said.. tablet play is all I know. I don't see how any of y'all can use the phone for it, since phone's is tiny. But, keep an eye out on Craiglist, or any of the buy/sell apps floating around out there. You can pick up (at least here in CenTex) a used 2nd or 3rd gen iPad for about $30. It's worth it.

Definitely a difference. I can't use my thumb for the trigger button on my iPhone without constantly hitting the special feature button, too. I have to use my fingertip to control it. Also, I can't see my opponent's load-out unless they're already in range. An iPad is definitely better. Cannot see enemy load-out is also a problem to me. I can't recall how many times I intend to change target but end up firing the red button instead. I've been thinking about getting a tablet for War Robots but big screen phone is also tempting (bigger than my current 5.5 inch phone). Galaxy Note 8 for just this reason.

I think I will go with tablet. Playing on tablet is nicer in my opinion. Size of the tablet is not a problem to me as I play War Robots mostly at home. Considering to get samsung tab S3 just to play War Robots, I must be like War Robots so much.

My thinking is that I MIGHT be able to justify purchasing a larger phone, that I already use for so many other things, to my wife. I don't think I can justify the need for a Chrome based tablet, as I really don't have the need beyond the game.

I can relate to you, fortunately my wife kind of lenient this time that I havent upgrade my device for so long.
When I tried play War Robots on tablet, I told her that the tablet would not only be nice to play game but also to watch movies, etc, she kind of give the nod to it.

On Wi-Fi, I do much better on my tablet, when there is no wi-fi or tje wi-fi is weak, I do better on my phone due to lag. Here at the police academy there is no strong wi-fi.
