So I've been thinking of dropping my TT Fury due to the numerous indirect nerfs it recieved. Since dash bots are coming out and we are seeing so many tulumbus/pin Griffins and Fujins, I think it's safe to say that an energy based mid range bot would be a good counter.
My question is which Laser bot would be the best to invest in: Zeus Carnage, Zeus Fury, or Laser Leo?
Also, I know Zeus Fury is used in meta, but is Zeus Carnage also viable? And with the knew gekko buff, is Leo a considerable bot at least or should I ditch it for now?

I actually prefer the Zeus Carnage over the Zeus Fury, so I'd say that. With Zeus, you want the constant LOS on the enemy, in which you will need to be constantly changing angles and running to different 'camping' spots. Carnage can do that very well, but the Fury is too slow.

If you can level up Gekkos, a Gekko Patton is good these days along with Zeus Carnage

I'm working on leveling my Zeus Carny (and training myself to use the range!), but wondering about adding a longer range option with a Treb, Gekko Leo. It's frustrating to keep getting zapped when I'm plodding along way out of range.

I have both a Zeus Carnage and a Gekko Patton. They each have about level 10 weapons. I prefer the mobility of the Carnage vs the extra range of the Patton. When the stars align right, the Patton can wreck havoc, but overall the Zeus Carnage is better on more maps.

Of course Gekko+Trebuchet Leo. It's just 5 km\h slower than Patton, and can shoot through the entire map.

Oh, and Zeus Carnage is awesome bot, but it's different class. 400~600m is a support, and 800+ is a sniper.
Difference is in gameplay style. If you run 600m bot you need somebody to be around, because very fast\shielded bots can actually get to you and wreck havoc. And different maps are good\bad for different ranges.

Oh, and Zeus Carnage is awesome bot, but it's different class. Actually, yeah that's very true. Don't know why I thought about comparing Leo and Carnage.. But ranges aside, given that the rest of my hangar is close range knife fighting (two splash, two plasma), between Zeus Carnage and Laser Leo, which one is the better general support bot overall? I don't see either in the Legend League setup. P.S. when I say Laser Leo I'm referring to Zeus/Gekko setup Also, I'm seeing some people using Thunder/Pinata Leo, is that any good in the meta?

Thunder\Pinata is good in Diamond2 in iOS; dunno about higher tiers, I've rehauled hangar now. I'd prioritize list as following: 1) Trebuchet\Gekko Leo - VERY good for some maps, not usable on other. Very big HP pool, can stay far away and destroy enemies. 2) Zeus Carnage - awesome bot, can be used on many maps. Can close distance\run away fast. 3) Zeus Leo - Gekko is no good at close range, Zeus is not good at 601+ meters. Can't close distance fast, can be countered with Molot\Tulumbas\Tridents\Trebuchet. Outrageously expensive. However got a cool avatar, so might worth a try if you got weapons already.

The Carnage needs some mobility work and the Zeus needs to be fixed. I would say Leo with jacked up Gekkos and a Zeus for closer in (I like that's its lock on) . I ain't worried about dashes until they show up.
For you hunters, especially birds, leading the Dashbots will be key. Like snipers at distance. The target actual runs into the bullets or more precisely into its path. The sniper does not aim AT the target.
We are seriously lacking a Med hardooint, midrange, energy weapon.

Just swapped out the Thunders on my Carnage for the Zeus's, and I'm already seeing more longevity with it in battle.
Probably not much good against Brit bots, but most others will get a decent sting.

Gekkos are NOT going to be any kind of answer to dash bots.

Was thinking of adding a long-range for options and thought of LEO Treb Gekko. Have the WSP for one but not four Trebs. And the gold. No interest in spending 14k on a Butch!! BUT is the LGT really any good?

I feel the best way to get bang for your buck with a Leo is to use it's massive health to dish out damage. Treb, Gekko Leo is to far from the action and doesn't do enough damage. Go Zeus and Pins and fight it out with the RDBs, the Zeus Fury's, Trident Furys and the Zarnages - you'll get good results.

Good point but I feel I already have better knife fighting options (Lance/Carnage/DB Griff) than making the lumbering hulk one. It's too slow and wouldn't help me on Yam. I play all maps and the one that is giving me grief is Yam. So thinking of a long range option to add to the hanger and Gekko's seem to be kicking butt at the moment. I have a mid-range Zarney (and Zury). So if not long range perhaps a 500m option, a Tulu Doc/Tulu Fuijin or wait for Mrk II dash and load that with Tulu.

I built my Zeus Pin Leo for Yama, Springfield, Shenzen and Canyon. At Yama I patrol him left and right at the base of the ramp if we hold center. Or I stand 2/3 of the way up the ramp and hit reds coming down the bridges left or right. If they've been pushed back I can fire from center beacon. If we're assaulting center beacon I support from 400m of so that plasma can't get me. That Zeus and the splash from the pins means I'm dealing damage every couple of seconds. Seriously prefer him to my RDB.
