1/ In settings you can turn "auto aim" off. What is that. What happens if it is off.
2/ I am aiming at red, target A. He walks around the corner and I engage. 1 second later another bot jumps around the corner, target B. My auto aim freaks out and starts switching between the two. I never change targets and continue to shoot at target A... My aim comes to rest on target B because he landed closer and slightly left. I am still shooting at target A even tho the red box is now on B. My question is.... am I doing damage with my plasma to target A if my retical is locked on target B? I just can't tell....

1. Try it for yourself 2. Yes, it's possible if A is the same elevation as B and you have good aim. It happens all the time in stalker vs stalker stealth duels.

The "Target-Lock" is so you can manually switch Targets.
If you 'Lock onto a Target, you can Switch between Targets while maintaining Lock. This also has the benefit of stopping your reticle from "jumping."
Simply push the Icon beneath the big Red button to manually switch between "Auto-lock" and the arrows switch Targets.
It takes some getting used to but it can be beneficial for weapons at extreme range or if targeting a specific Mecha in a crowd.
