Does anyone else have a hard time handing over silver and time to upgrade a Bot once the speed is maxed out? Currently looking at spending 9 mil upgrading my Carnage when the speed is maxed. Gimme one km/hr guys. Cmon

Every hit point step , to use boxing as an analogy, allows you one more hit in the chin...Every mistake will be capitalized on by your opponents and the HP steps are that buffer. It's worth it when errors are at their lowest and are magnified by the enemy in the Dia + Leagues.
Speed is fine...but if you are shooting your opponent with a HP deficit, he gets a free shot when you hit point out.
It's the equivalent of a weapons level down from your opponent. And if you have ever missed the crucial beacon flip by mere seconds of being shot to 「dookie」, that extra HP could have changed the game. Especially when there are slivers on the tap out bar.

Although I kinda feel like you're minimizing mobility, I hear ya. And I have definitely missed the beacon flip by a fraction of a second. But still, it's hard turning over 9 mil knowing that it won't help me survive a single additional barrage from a taran

If you are hot-headed and tend to expose yourself a lot, then the upgrade will definitely worth it. But if you're always cautious and only rush when opportunity comes, then imo feel free to save those silver to level up other things first.

Personally i will bring thunder to 12 before upgrade again Carnage but it depends on bots and set up, some one need extra hp more than extra firepower it's a matter of role on the battlefield as a main guidelines i use this: 1 First of all everything to 8 except for support bots (mid and long range)
2 weapons to 9 and mid ranger bots to 8
3 brawler bots based on burst dmg to 9
4 brawler bots based on sustained dmg and cappers to 10/12 (depends on cost and time)
5 brawler weapon to 11
6 everything to 12 depending on what you find more usefull first

I am definitely leveling weapons & bots based on use: I'm moving up through Expert II and run bots from level 7 - 10. My wepons levels are L11, with 2x L12 Tarans, L10 rdb Griffin (leveling now). I have my mid-range bots & L7 & L8, Griffin & Fury.
I still use strategy of weapons before bots. I like to be more effective dealing damage than taking damage!

I'm most likely keeping all my bots are lvl.9 until I get all my weapons to max level then going back to upgrade them. Have a clanmate with 5 lvl.6 bots and all his weapons are lvl.11 and above lol he does perfectly fine since he can outdamage a lot of players before they can kill his lvl. 6

Yeah right, pal. No one is thst patient.

i personally follow the old-wiki-MM motto of "weapons +2" and "level [mostly] equally" now that my main group of bots are level 9/10, i'm going to get all my weapons to level 12 before i start pushing bots to 11 & 12. i'll even upgrade some things in my garage before i start leveling any of them again, that way when updates make certain bots obsolete and others OP I'm not left sitting with new-glass-cannons in expert league
