I would say, probably not worth levelling ridiculously. It won't survive in gold.

Good platform for useful weapons (and you have useful ones on it), but the Leo itself will need to be replaced at some point. The Mags and Ancile are good, though.

It's a fine build, but not quite same burst dps as taran ancilot.

I run a Thunder-Pin Leo for mid-range support and Ancille suppression.

I switch between Magnum/Thunder and Pinata/Thunder in my Leo. I've got Ancile, and played with it on my Leo, but didn't find it to be a good fit for my playstyle. To be honest, I didn't expect the Leo to do much when I got to gold, but now I'm Diamond and it's still doing okay.

What level is your Ancile? I've had zero success with Ancileo.

If i run leo i'm using thunder/magnums (i don't have ancile). I have both Thunder/Mag and Thunder/Pinata. I like that the Pinata version is a bit more bursty, but the range on the Mags can help here and there, too. Don't own an ancile, yet, so I haven't tried to mount one on a Leo.

Between the silver Leo and the diamond Lancelot, which is the best brawler to survive gold?

Between the silver Leo and the diamond Lancelot, which is the best brawler to survive gold? An Ancilot (Lancelot with an Ancile) typically takes more of a hit. I can't speak to gold, but that's been my experience in Diamond/Expert. It's not invincible, though. If you're facing people who are consciously wearing down the Ancile shield (ie Thunder, Punisher, or Molot fire) to prep you for a rocket barrage, you could be in for a faster death than you'd like.

I do not own an ancile either. I have a thunpun Leo and a thunpin Leo. I swapped out magnums for the pins after the latest update. I found that the thunmag Leo was too squishy, even with all those hit points and too slow to get to cover, to perform consistently at short range in high silver/low gold, where I have been playing. I think a thunpinata Leo would have the same problem. If I can ever afford to stick an ancile on a Leo, maybe I'll change my mind.

If you're facing people who are consciously wearing down the Ancile shield (ie Thunder, Punisher, or Molot fire) to prep you for a rocket barrage, you could be in for a faster death than you'd like. When I was in high Silver, where you start to encounter Ancilots, I ran a thunder/pinata Leo as Ancilot breaker for the team. Smash the ancile with the thunder, then blast away with the pinatas. I like to engage anywhere from 250m and under. At 250m the Ancile is catching the Thunder's whole spread so you're doing full damage to it with every shot. Whether you win or lose the encounter, the Ancilot is significantly softened for the team and the pilots generally become much less aggressive.
