I know I'm new and all that so my hangar sucks. That being said, I don't want to waste any time leveling up garbage. I'd like some advice on how to move forward if you guys don't mind. I'm saving up some gold to get some Aphids for my Leo.

Welcome to the game and the forum!
Here's my advice, but remember, YMMV, so do what you enjoy most.
Leo looks solid. If you give him Aphids, thats fine, but aphids to me are not really the best AU weapon. They miss small fast bots like Gareths and Stalkers.
Tasha with Nashorns is fine as your midranger, but suggest molts or pins to go on her sides. Noricums make pretty fireworks but rarely impact the game or hurt the reds.
Patton Punisher is fun. He is who I would give aphids to if you that route. Give the Punishers to Leo.
DB Griff of course is a solid build.
With gold, I would save for the 5th slot, but more Orkans and Aphids are fine too. Focus on opening your workshop soon to buy Tarans and Magnums, and enjoy the game!

He didn't r@pe you. Don't use the word r@pe so lightly. At least the mods censored that word, but wow. I can't believe guys still say that phrase.

Sorry about the high end player blowing you up. If you read here, you will find that some pilots think its fun to lower their league score down to play against new players like yourself with high end gear. They are generally 「wee-wee」s, but what are you gonna do. Hope you dont see them too often until you are levelled up yourself.

Here is a guide for how to use gold optimally. warrobots.wikia.com/wiki/Strayed%27s_list_of_gold_purchases_from_highest_priority_to_lowestThat said, it's just a guide, and buy what looks fun. Aphids are great in multiples, and can be a really effective support weapon from behind cover. They are not the best weapon for brawling though, which are generally Pinatas/Orkans like your Griff, or Magnums/Tarans which you will soon unlock, and Thunders are the best weapon for "get off my lawn" moments... When i was at your levels, I loved the Boa with a Thunder and Orkan. I ran two of them. They are a great little blend of speed and power. Griffins are great, and may stay with you up into the highest levels of play. Leo can be a beast at your levels as well. Enjoy!

As someone who first bought aphids - they are pretty disappointing. Pinatas on Leo tends to be better. Orkans are by far the best gold weapon currently.

I'm saving up some gold to get some Aphids for my Leo. You bought the right 1st Au weapons. DB Griffin is going to worth your time upgrade it, because some of the best player in highest league still using them. Start regenerate WSP asap when it open, buy 2 Tarans and 2 Magnum and build a PDB Griffin. This bot is still decent at highest league. If you want a good beacon runner which doing okay damage, you can buy a Gareth. If you only want a bot that probably last forever up to highest league, buy a Galahad. Some top players still use a Gareth but not as much as Galahad. I recommend Taran and Magnum for them, but some people prefer Orkan Piñata or Aphid. 4th bot is very hard choice when you don't have enough WSP or Au for end game bots. Because most end game bots cost a lot of WSP and Au, like Taran Ancilelot, Thunder/Orkan Lancelot, trident or Zeus Fury, Trebs Butch etc (your Galahad and DB Griffin is one of them). There are still quite a few people using Thunder or Zeus Carnage, Gareth, PDB and RBD Griffin as well. The choices is yours. I don't prefer buying Aphids before 5th slot or Galahad, but if you like shooting Aphids behind a building and enjoy it. Why not?

Here's what I would do:
Ditch the Leo and Natasha, replace them with 2 Boas. Put the Leo's Thunder on one and buy another Thunder for the 2nd. Move your Orkans over to the Boas and turn the Griffin into an RDB (pins/tulumbas). Put the Pinatas on the Patton and buy 2 more so he can sport 4 of them.
Then upgrade, upgrade, upgrade...
That would give you some significantly increased 「deteriorated bum-bum」ery without spending any more gold for the time being.
Also, get some plasma weapons as you build wsp. Start with a Taran and 2 Magnums. Then, after you get the 5th slot, you can pick up a Galahad and outfit it with Plasma.
Looking down the road, the Orkans eventually go back on the Griffin, along with the 2 highest Pinatas. The Boas get retired and their Thunders go on a Carnage. A 2nd Griffin can keep the RDB going, or outfit it with plasma.
Of course, this is just what I would do. You can do whatever you want.
If there's one thing I've learned about this game, it's this: you should NEVER use the phrase "final hangar". You will always be changing things up looking for that perfect 5 bot combo.

I recently started this account on a new device. Just sharing for contrast, since it's close on level and league. Edit: It only took a handful of matches to bump up.

My first gold investment was an orkan. I put it on a boa. The thunder orkan boa never left my hanger until I got my 5th slot and reached level 27. And I learnt to knife fight from it.
Everything else were plasma. Many many tarans and magnums. I have tried vitas, cossack, and Leo and then started building my griffin army.

How I survived, before the inclusion if the Leaver's Pool, was follow a Teammate and study the various weapon/defense of the enemy. For example, if you see plasma fire, keep outside of 350m or if an Ancile is on the battlefield and you have no energy or penetration weapons, do not directly engage - flank or range them to help take down the Ancile. Run support predominantly until you are confident that you can engage an opponent directly.
I'm 2 months into War Robots and I still run support and my weapon loudouts reflect this. I use variable range and target every Tango on the field or jump in when a teammate is taking heavy fire. But I don't usually Support stupidity; if a teammate rushes the enemy lines then they are going to get their rear-gears handed to them and I would, too. You are no good to your Team, if you are dead.
