Yeah Chris, I am experiencing similar problems, jumping between high sliver 3 and low silver 2. Turns out, you actually need your team to have a 1:1 ratio approximately with you. Unfortunately, most silver leagues are highly unbalanced, but what I suggest is saving up for a good layout, and sticking to it. Also, what robots and weapons are you using?

Was my sucess down to others or how do I become a more effective player Silver on Android is filled with some wildly 'varied' players. If you're doing the same amount of beacon capping, damage as well as kills, then you're bots/weapons are just too low level, you're at the limits of certain bot/weapon combos or you are stuck in a rut of a playstyle that is no longer viable and need to change it up (which can also include needing to change your hangar). Post your hangar.

Keep an eye out for players on the red team who look like they're good at this game. Ignore easy targets who don't seem to play well. Help your teammates take out the strongest reds first... the reds who use pro tactics (such as corner shooting). Once the strongest reds are destroyed, capture beacons at your leisure... rookie reds most likely won't be able to take you out. Btw, I don't follow my own advice because I love being stuck in limbo between Silver III and II. I'm not ready for Silver I.

Btw, I don't follow my own advice because I love being stuck in limbo between Silver III and II. I'm not ready for Silver I. I don't know what to tell you, my hangar is purely maverick plays, Send in the Gareth first, Gareth can easily take out at least 3 heavy robots if used correctly, and sometimes even last you the whole game and get you first place (Gary is my favorite robot, durability (200k total), 64 km/h and perfect for solo gameplay. What I do is capture the beacons close to my team's spawn, and then capture central beacon (Easy because of your shield) and then run around the map shooting down targets you find annoying to your allies. Despite popular belief, Gareth are still good without a shield, 70k health, and great for corner shooting due to the weapons' placement. If that fails (or succeeds), I either send out carnage (for offensive pushes, only when teammates are in dire need of a rescue) or my plasma Griffin, easy for taking down defensive structures such as Fujin, any sort of ankle or light robots (besides shield bots). Griffin is used when I need to get somewhere fast, and rush straight to the site of emergency i.e. crucial beacon loss, allies losing battle. Griffin is a powerful support robot, and becomes super deadly when combined with Gareth, Galahad, Fujin, or Carnage. While your teammate distracts, sink in around two rounds, which gets you close to 100k damage, and with multiple rounds, you can deal up to 300k+, and combined with your Gareth, I assume that totals to around 500k damage. Then we send in our powerhouse, Carnage, purely for ambush, this thing is deadly. Sneak up behind even a Lancelot, and you have a carcass you can proudly take a screenshot of. After all is said and done, carnage, while ambushing ~3+ robots, deals up to 300k-400k. Of course, this is perfect game scenario, 900k damage, ~3 beacons, ~5 robots killed. Even with only 3 slots, this hangar is deadly, and averages around 500k damage a battle, and usually takes first or second. If you do use this, a great option for 4th robot is Rhino, and well, there isn't much to explain about Rhino, deadly juggernaut, and "incarnation of rage" or something. I'm only stopping writing cause my hands are going limp XD.

A screen shot of your lineup would go a long ways here.

Also highly specific and not true for those playing above silver. I love my gary, but a gary going for centre beacon early in the battle and relying on shield to protect them in gold + is pretty much dead.
