I would buy Orkans for Lancelot, then a Galahad and run
Orkan/Thunder Lancelot
Taran Ancilelot
Plasmahad
Stuka Griffin
Gareth or Rogatka

Get 2x Orkans, put the on the Thunder Lancelot and put your existing Taran on the Ancile Lancelot.
Replace your Russian Griffin with a Tulumbas Doc.

With what you already have as bots, I'd get the Orkans. While the coming Orkan buff seems small, the extra rockets ensure that they will be a relevant weapon forever.
Galahad will most likely fall victim to the Dash Mk2 and the coming of the Tulumbas/Orkan upgrades --- at which time the Dash in either tri-Orks or Tri-Tuls can easily kill an L12 Gal. Further, even bots that already here like a tri-Tul Fujin or quad Tul Doc will crunch Gals at ANY distance below 500m. Even the old silver tier setups like Trident/Tri-CRV Leos, quad-Piñata or quad-CRV Pattons will be no joke to an L12 Gal --- cause the Gal pilot won't win those encounters most of the time.
Overall, I think the Gal will be soon like the Rhino unless it gets its HP buffed to 150K and its speed increased or at least made 50KPH even with its shield up.

I am a really big Gareth fan, and tbh, I think Gareth outperforms Galahad and Lancelot.

Thanks I got the Orkans ^_^ I picked up Orkan 5 and 6 ---- I had the extra Au since I didn't buy a Butch and wanted to try a quad Ork Doc as a close support bot. I tried that setup using all the Orks I had and it was devestating to any bot I encountered if I shadowed a blue Ancilot. I also ran an Ork/Tul Doc. I found this odd combo good at killing or cripple either a Gareth or Galahad. That being said, there are just too many setups that now that will put down a Galahad. The Dash bots will be the nail in the coffin for the Galahad. I have 2 level 12 Gals and right now they can't earn their keep anymore in Champion league matches as a random. The Doc I bought during the event will be at L12 in a week or so and even not at max HP it performs better than my Gals in the close support role. I think by the end of this month, my Galahads will be retired. |
