I've been playing for about a week now and I'm really starting to like the game, but I'd appreciate some feedback. Basically I'm wondering if the way I've been playing is good strategy wise or not? Typically at the start of a match I use my gepard and go for as many beacons as I can get that appear to be easily holdable for my team once the geps destroyed i usually switch to one of two mechs that are somewhat quick so i can get back into the fight quickly, i use either the golem or a Griffin I recently acquired.
(I know it's not really very fast. But with its jump capabilities it gets to the fight quick enough :-).)
Anyways if i manage to lose both those mechs and the battle is still going I then use my natasha with a mix of long and close range weapons to hopefully stay In the fight until the end and knock out as many reds as I can.
Well that's it! Any feedback, tips, tricks I can use to be a better team player please let me know thank you!

There are many facets to this game and as a solo player in team, well, there are often competing priorities. Some want to lose, some want to win, some want to steal kills, some want to kill, some are beacon cappers, most love silver, some play for experience of teh bot...you get the picture. (it is particularly crazy during events and does not represent normal game play IMO) Just some thoughts... when I play solo I have a range of bots to get the job done. Including a stalker... When I playing with my clan, my bot line up changes out goes the stalker and in comes the killer Galahad When I play solo I react to what his happening When I play for my clan I have a defined role... when I play solo I play for: - Fun
- Damage
- Practice startegies with bots...
- Did i mention silver
how you play depends on what you want from a game...
different boots require different pilot skills. I've mentioned my stalker..
this little bot will float in and out looking for weak kills for a finish and it will harass bigger bots and frustrate them long enough that my team just blow em to bits.. I enjoy the stalker...
if it is a long range map out comes my Leo with a Treb and 3 Gekkos... Its a support bot and I look to support those bots on the front line...also I suppress and cooncentrate on their snipers..
When Im piloting Boom Boom Boy (griff) ill just pound away until hes dead..
Griffs are excellent bots and can swoop in for some heavy carnage on unsuspecting pilots!!
Its just a matter of experience piloting different machines.
For further example I just begun to realise that my Gareth needs a much more delicate touch than I've been using him for.. I've come up against some Gareth pilots of consummate skill recently and my efforts are now going towards that learning cycle...
In summation, play to achieve what you want from each game... but most off all enjoy it, its a game!!
hope that essay helps??

Do not mix ranges your bot will be weaker for both ranges.
Fast bots are good to deploy at the beginning to turn the side beacons and the center ASAP then they can help the heavier bots at the front or distract the enemy force by go for the unprotected side beacon of them.
They are also good as second bot to reach the Frontline faster.
They are sometimes game winning in end game when you are behind and both side start to mech out.
Mid and long range deploy only good on open maps or if you are ahead, they can soften the enemy before they reach the frontline and snipe the enemy cappers. Be aware even on open maps if your team has too many midrange you cannot grab the center beacon so your effort is pointless. If you are behind then sometimes it worth to eject.
Close range bots are almost always worth to deploy they can attack and defend beacons.

Plenty of useful information & well structured (beginner, advanced) warrobots.wikia.com/wiki/War_Robots_WikiFrom what you write: - do not mix weapons. Specialization is the key in this game. For example (just starting silver bot), pure Molot or Punisher Griffin will work well. - light bot usage depends on the map. I use light bot first on some large maps (Springfield, Canyon), however it goes last on smaller maps (Power Plant, Shenzen, Dead City, Moon, Yamantau - though not small). It can bring the decisive beacons as most pilots are in their last bot, often slow or support bot.
