I'm using two ork thunder lancelots and two plasmahads every game. 5th slot changes depending on my mood or the task I need to complete.
The choices above are what I'm considering as 5th staple. Any other suggestions, feel free to comment. Whole hangar overhaul suggestions are also welcome (e.g. do I have too much plasma...etc).
PS: not a fan of TT Fury's shoot - cower and hide - run if someone's near play style.

Your choices seem just more of the same you already have, with slight variation. I vote "none of the above".

I vote mid ranger.
Edit: something like a Leo with molots and trident. I have a clan mate that runs high level weapons on his and forces the reds into laying low.

This is a hard choice. I will probably go with Stuka Griffin, just because it is more fun and totally different play style from Galahad and Lancelot. But I also agree with above, a mid range will help too.

The coming rocket change will see increase in Pins, Tulumbas and Pinatas especially (improved reload mechanic is a game changer especially for RDB), and also Orkans (more damage makes better weapon, duh). Physical shield bots will suffer from this. Ancile bots will become more common. More Anciles and less shield bots also means more energy weapons.
DB Griffin will benefit from improved weapons, but suffer from being susceptible to both plasma and rockets, as well as suffer from increase in Anciles to counter the DB weapon set.
As a result, different Ancelot versions will rule the battlefield. As if they already don't, but now we at least will get more variation in weapons...

I've been giving this some thought... I think the ideal hangar should be:
Slot 1: Light bot
Slot 2: Medium bot
Slot 3: Heavy bot
Slot 4: Medium bot
Slot 5: Light bot

Gareth (Aphid+Taran)
DB Griffin
DB Griffin
Carnage (2x Thunder)
Ancilot (Ancile+2x taran)

Long/midrange bot is nessicary if u solo imo... if u sqaud u dnt need one but tt fury isnt really run and hide its more of a kill brit bots while my team protects me... i started runnin quad treb butch and if my team needs long range on some maps i play the part, if team has to many mid/longrangers i ditch after doin some ez damage.. 4 knifers should last whole match anyway
