Just want to know. I won a butch. I have 4 treb three at lvl 4 and one I won that's still level 1. Just want to know if butch is worth all the silver it'll take for me to get him to 12/12
I plan on running him with 2 lances and 2 griffs that are all 10/10 so far. I am in expert 3 now.
Thoughts?

The best bots for Trebs is Butch, Fury next. Trebs has pretty low dps or dpm, but 4 fully charged Trebs is pretty scary, especially it's shooting range. I think Trebs Butch really shine in Springfield, Canyon and Yamatau. But not so much on a smaller map.

I have a Butch and three trebs, working on the fourth. Can't wait to run it, even though I'm not a sniper player.

I have 4 Trebs that I've had a long time (I bought 4 of all WSP cannon just to blow off WSP - which I still have over 100K of) and a Butch looks to be the only bot that can take the Treb actually useful.
Now I don't have a Butch, but I have had the quad Treb used against me quite a bit in Masters/Champion level play. From my experience, this setup has no real peers at the 800m plus range on the open maps. Heck, its only down 35-40K in damage dealt versus a triple Trident Fury at L12 in a 30 second timeframe. I've had quad Treb Butches blow off my physical shields while I'm occupied fighting other reds ---- which means I'm dead and the Butch gave his fellow red the easy kill.
If I played the long range game, I'd get the quad Treb Butch, as it's the BEST setup at the 800 plus meter range (since there's no 800+ meter splash heavy weapon). However, since the most I'll go is a Triple Trident or Zeus Fury, the Butch isn't in the cards for me.

My clan and I typically run brawler hangars so we do very well on the short maps. Dead city, moon, power plant etc. We have moreceived difficulty on the long maps so I was going to run a sniper bot to help clear the medium Red medium bots.

Having been on the receiving end of a quad treb butch, I can attest that on certain maps it is an absolute beast. It is however very map specific (yama, springfield and canyon).

Those maps are the ones where my hangar, needs the help. I'll run four brawlers and then the one sniper bot Im thinking.

If you are going to run a sniper, it is the sniper to run. I wouldn't build a hanger around it, but it would hold the "5th slot fun" position.

When I play against it on Yam, Sprinfield, or Canyon, its pretty strong. Not sure it does too much on any of the other maps. Maybe Shenzen. The midranger I am loving right now is the Zeus Carnage for its mobility. And Treb Butch ruins my Zeus Carnage Zap parties.

I won one..... But have no trebs - is worth the time, WSP, and silver investment?

I'm running a treb fury right now to see if it's a ay style I like. It's kinda boring sometimes but can be a game changer assuming the rest of the blues are brawling. Don't think I'd run a sniper when solo but in a squad it can be a real help. One triple treb shot and there goes half a reds Lance shield. Or if your a carnage boom half your health gone. Played right a treb sniper can be a real pain in the 「bum-bum」 for a red team. My trebs are low but I can see the potential. Just plan on only having a 4 bot hangar in dead city or moon.

I find Dead City pretty good for snipers. You need to go up on the sniper's nest, and find Stalkers to and Gepards to kill. Also, centre beacon is open, so tag them when they are trying to cap. Also, cover the crossing lane in front of you. Why did the Griffin cross the road? To get to the other side! You know they need to cross, so get them easy targets. Also, you can attack other snipers up on their perch. Plus, you can get lucky, and hit Galahads when they are turned. All that and more, and I find it pretty good hunting grounds. Now, Champion might be different because most will be aware of when you are charged. Otherwise, Expert and Master is not that smart.

Otherwise, Expert and Master is not that smart. Respectfully, you must be on iOS. In Android diamond, the sniper up on the dead city perch is generally the last guy to die after his team gets meched out for fighting short handed. Actually, it's been a few leagues since anyone has even gone up there to snipe. Maybe silver league it's still effective?
