I have a couple of Spirals. Is there a good setup for a bot with Spirals? What to do with Spirals?

It depends on your level, is a good weapon in lower tiers. I have 2 spirals and 2 hydras in a Griffin and they work lovely against the overpopulated Brit robots.

Spirals have a particular flight path that make them exceptionally effective weapons. They are able to rise up over structures and home in on targets.
Low damage output does not equate to low effectiveness. You can remain concealed and still be an asset on the battlefield. This make them good to harass Snipers and entrenched Players waiting either to reload or are low on armour.
Spirals are an excellent weapon and should not be overlooked.

With thank of the distance, we can bring a damage to Fury + Tridents from the hided position if you have Grifin and two Hydras. Only one problem is damage by the weapons will be slightly lower than what you expected.

I have 4 of the bloody things at level 7. Considering selling two.
Will keep two for the odd occasion that I run a griffin spiral hydra

Currently testing Spirals on Trident Natasha (the other choices being Pins and Molots). Not a bad choice here. I don't lose range, and if I want to pop out a fresh Gareth/Galahad I really need the 600m distance (confirmed in Springfield, Canyon). Also good to finish almost-done bot which hides from Trident (Yamantau).

This make them good to harass Snipers and entrenched Players waiting either to reload or are low on armour. I'll admit that I'm not a big fan of homing missiles because most players using them are just bad players. Like, if you're behind on beacons you have to ditch your Spiral/Hydra robot and get into a mech that allows you to push the reds off a beacon. Most Hydra/Spiral pilots won't do that. Much depends on the league of course, and the right timing. If you are facing many Ancile robots, forget about using Spirals. Best time to use them IMO is at the start, where you can hit light beacon cappers, and later in the game when most players have wasted their ancile robots. My problem with Spirals that they just don't do enough damage. At level 12 a Spiral Patton has 24k burst damage. If the aim is to soften up reds for your knife fighting teammates, you will have to hit them several times. Hydra Spiral Griff is a bit better, as it does 38k burst damage, but the Hydra missiles can be easily blocked with the shield of a Galahad or Gary. Trident Fury, Trident Pin Natty or an RDB Griff will all do roughly 60k splash damage per burst.
