It's really hard to get to the two far beacons. Just use the Stalker for the early "home" beacons if you can, then play swapsies with the reds for the middle beacon. It's really not a friendly map for capturing beacons, unfortunately. I can get to the home beacons, particularly beacons B or E, if I have support. Btw, I just captured three beacons (center beacon and two beacons on their side) in Springfield using one Leo bot. Nice! Were the reds asleep...?

ou812gr8m8, which bots do you prefer to use in Yamantau to capture beacons? I've tried Stalker, but I can't get to the red side without the support of my team. That's the only light bot I have at level 6 (the rest are at level 3 except my Cossack which is level 5). My medium bots are also at level 3. Do you have a Gareth? It's my main beacons capper. It can kill leos, griffens, natashas, and even carnage in a 1v1. Another thing: Know your weapon range because it will save you many times. Pinatas and Orkans have a range of 300m Pins and Tulumbas have a range of 500m Magnums and Tarans have a range of 350m Zeus and Tridents have a range of 600m So RDB Bots you can't do much but take cover and try to get close to get in range but for DB Bots(Pinata,Orkan), try to keep that 300-350m range so you can hit your opponent with plasma weapons while they can't hit you. The zeus and tridents are killers so be cautious not to get in range of them while you are going across the field for beacons because zeus doesn't miss and is fantastic for killing knife fighter bots. If you have a fast bot and are facing plasma bots, try to keep 250m away and keep moving so you can dodge a lot of the shots and return fire. If you are close, it's really hard to dodge the shots. Ancile Bots - The ancile have a shield radius of 30m therefore if you get inside that 30m, the robot is completely exposed and the shield won't protect it. When I'm running a thunder carnage or a DB griffen and I see an Ancilot, I either wait until my teammate takes out ancile or I try to take cover until it is close then rush inside the ancile shield.

Were the reds asleep...? No, they were trying, but we literally surrounded them so they couldn't leave their spawn. Also, I just played a Dead City match with SIX "leavers" (3 on both teams... no, I'm not in the leavers queue). The good thing about that 3v3 match is less competition for capturing beacons... I got five, one of my teammates got six.

My regular hangar isn't particularly slow and includes a Gareth. But that isn't normal. I have managed similar numbers on Yamantau but as mentioned above that is all centre beacon defence and re-taking. Take the centre beacon, retreat onto the ramp so as not to take the bulk of mid/long range fire. Attack and retake centre as needed.

How long does one need to remain in a match to get credit for it? Suck as a win or beacons capped?

I think you have to just stay until the end in order to have the rewards show up immediately, but they'll still come if you leave early, just not for a short while.

Finally finished capturing 46 beacons to get the Aphid... now I have two (got one from a chest) for one of my Leos. T-rex Stalker task is next. I wish I could skip this one.

Finally got the Raijin! Now to try and get the only thing I wanted, Ancile! Only thing is getting this far I have enough gold to buy one. Lol I think I will need 5 days to do this, 34 wins, destroy 146 robots, 58 beacons I think? Thats a lot!

Reading messages here I sometimes feel I am really late.
Just cleared the Taran yesterday. Will try to complete Aphid this week-end.
Realistically, I have a good chance to clear Stalker next week (argh... just bought one before the event!). Big question mark for the Trebuchet. I will not be able to go further than that though, that is clear.

Grats to those earning new toys. :-)
I like how there are items to be earned in this event, so it's not just down to the luck of opening chests.

Just finished the 120 kills round for the RAIJIN, now 135 beacons await to be captured Look at this poor little Boa. Cornered by the big bad RDB Griffin. Did you let the little Boa live since y'all were winning... or did you need to kill it to complete the task? If I were that pilot, I would've ejected. No shame in my game.

@nitro
The number is intimidating, but the wins take longer for me. I average 4-8 kills per game so 20 games I would've already completed while the wins is another 7.
For wins, I've been squadding with clanmates mostly. Pairs of two to the right and left and another pair to the center. I ran thunder carnage pair with a clanmate and we overtook opponent base more than half of the time and stayed in the way back so when they spawn, their back is to us and by the time they turn around they are already dead. 4 lvl.10 thunders on a single bot is a 2 second kill. It gives our team time to secure all the beacons and even if we are taken out there's 5 beacons for the opponent to secure which gives us time to recover them again.
When I run thunder carnage I try to sneak into opponent spawn area to delay the opponents from advancing too fast and to try and run the beacon bar down as far as possible. The biggest threat to my carnage are magnum stalkers...they go into stealth and keep wearing away at my carnage while plasma griffens I can wait for them to get close and kill them fast. Them little 「dookie」s => stealth, pew pew pew, hide again and too fast for carnage to chase.
Highest Priority: BEACONS! BEACONS! BEACONS! We won against a champion/diamond team because they were too confident going brute force with lancelots but we keep avoiding direct contact and securing the beacons. We won with 2 players left with very low hp on our team while the opponent had 6 people still.

I'm put to shame as I'm only just now putting this green stalker up [REDACTED] to the gerbil. Honestly I think I like the gerbil better. Really I'm just 'fessing up to failure to 'grind'. And if you can't win try and belittle those that do, or else make them feel like sexual perverts.

Did someone already get the Rogatka? I've seen a few Anarchy Rogatkas running around and whoever posted that finap step did. Let me try to recall it... Kill 106 robots Capture 85 beacons Win 27 Battles Kill 106 Robots Capture 85 beacons I'm currently on step two, the beacons part. Pretty soon the Rog will be mine too

On task 5/5 for the Rog. 40 beacons left. This has been a very tough set of tasks needing time and a varied hanger. A grind as some before stated but at the same time a good challenge. Wins are easy but still take time (solutions as per previous posts), Kills are hard as they take time and capping beacons are easy too. I often get 7-12 beacons per game (record is 13 which I got like 4 times).
Beacon tip: Use a gareth or a stalker (stalker with 1 weapon and an ECU. If you use two ECUs you wont be able to make your intent know). When you approach a beacon and the red guy looks like a beacon hunter than do not open fire. There are lots of us doing the same task. Take some punishment if u have to until the red gets the point. If you are on a beacon and see a stalker coming than back off, don’t shoot let it approach (if in a gareth even open your shield and wave). Again may take some damage but as soon as the other guy gets the point it becomes a beacon fest. Credit to others, people catch on really fast. Target a beacon away from the fight so others wont spoil the party. Generally every second game I find a Red that gets the point. Yesterday I was running up and down the side of dead city with a smart red for abt 5 minutes before someone else interrupted and put an end to the party.

And I get it, we don't want lessons in tanking etc etc etc, but the question of how was raised and I shall answer. I use a Lvl 10 plasma Gareth, cap and kill as much as possible. If my Gareth dies past the 8:00 minute mark, I am safe to leave and let the match play itself out, since I have made a contribution instead of piggybacking the entire way. If not past the 8:00 mark, I pick another mech (though none are as strong as my Garry) and keep fighting until that one dies. Doing this is not seen by the system as tanking for some reason, and my contribution generally scores us a win since Garry eats up bots at Silver league. I can let the match play out as I start another one. Repeat for each task, whether it is wins, beacons, or kills. My plasma Garry has carried me though thick and thin and I know I wouldn't have gotten where I am in the quest had it not been for him.

I just play as fast as I can. When it's over, leave and don't waste your time watching. That can save 3-5 minutes each game.

Too bad I can't do that, I leveled up my hangar evenly, with most bots at lvl9, so I'll just go usual way =)
