Winning battles is the ?poo-poo?tiest task. Have to agree! It's completely out of the individual player's control. It rely's more on the luck of the draw for the rest of your team. I've been chasing wins (beacons for several matches),... usually putting me in the bottom of scoring,... now (because of this), I'm in the LQ,... in my last match, we were down to 3 players after 2 minutes of match play,.... no way I'll even get past this tier now,.. and all because I'm trying to play the game the way Pix has it laid out..... Very bad logic on pix part,...

I've seen a few Anarchy Rogatkas running around and whoever posted that finap step did. Let me try to recall it... Kill 106 robots Capture 85 beacons Win 27 Battles Kill 106 Robots Capture 85 beacons I'm currently on step two, the beacons part. Pretty soon the Rog will be mine too How do you guys complete all these "win" tasks so fast? I need an answer to the same question. I am not a regular player and I've barely managed to reach the Aphid task in the past 7 days. Yes I'm a Lvl30 Rookie. XD

I currently have a 4 slot hanger with a Griffin(2 Magnums, 2 Tarans), a Leo(3 Magnums 1 Thunder), a Rhino (2 Magnums 2 Orkans) and a Patton (4 Aphids). All of them are around level 7-8. Destroying Bots is easy. Capturing beacons is harder but I manage by switching 1 of the heavy's for a Gepard with 3 Pinata. Real difficulty is winning battles as I dont have a clan so my teams are random so its usually morons who dont capture the beacons or people who make me end up at the bottom due to their prowess.

Yes I'm a Lvl30 Rookie. XD I didn't start getting ahead until I played a little more ruthlessly. If the game is not suitable for my goal, I'll bail. I know that can be somewhat frowned upon, but...well...whatever, I'd not be nearly as far along if I hadn't started playing that way. I was hunting for beacons tonight in one match, and my team got them all fairly early - reds weren't doing anything but sitting back and losing - so I bailed. Grab some beacons...things slow down...bail. If a red bot is coming to take a beacon back, I'll let them, then jump in and take it right back again. I'm not always getting heaps of beacons...but often 7 - 10 in a match depending on circumstances. Some matches I can just tell will only yield a few beacons...then...you guessed it...bail! When the goal is kill/destroy, I just go hard and reckless...usually lose all my bots before the game ends. If I'm fast enough, I will try and steal the kill from others on my team. If the red team is just camping and making it hard to get near them, I might decide to bail (most of the bots I use for killing are knife fighters). For wins...I sort of go for a cross between the two. Usually have a couple of griffins in the stable no matter what. Other bots I switch about a bit. I bail as soon as it looks like a done deal though. Again...time. Oddly I find it easier to win at a certain time of the day...dunno if this is because the competition gets better or worse, or my brain is just working better. Weird. Wins are the hardest though...I seem to play more matches for the win challenges. Anyways, wish I'd started 'playing smart' earlier. I'm up to the Raijin now...mostly through task 4/5...so I'll get that. It's taken me all day to get through about three tasks on this level, playing whenever I could fit it into a break! Sad! I don't want to think about how many hours I've spent on this event. Initially I was only aiming for the Stalker! Still...about a week to go? It's going to be a close thing. I'll get the Raijin tomorrow. Reckon I might manage the Ancile by Thursday...maybe make the Orkan by Sunday. What a grind! If I sit up all night I might have a shot at the Rog! It was the bot I was going to buy with my gold before I spent it all on chests (

You have the bots for killing Task (DB Griffin with jump are better than Rhino for killing Task though) , but you need a faster bot for beacon Task. Winning task is hard without squad, you can try to invite the good pilot in your squad history.

I know I am not going to get obsessed. My kids won't either. The tasks are designed to look easy at first but are in fact extremely difficult to complete, as they get harder and harder. And boring, because I think they just repeat four times with increased numbers. Chests? Not a good idea. And the WW bots price? No comments. Well... extra gold for the fifth slot. THAT is nice Arakos The win games task is the most time consuming. I can kill 6 bots and get 6 beacons in a single match, but I cant win 6 matches in a single match. Just finished the 2nd 'Win 13 matches' task,.... took over 8 hours,.. due mostly to tankers, quitters, & campers not taking any beacons. Completed the first 'win 13 matches' task in 2 hours,... (best run of wins I've had in a LONG time - guess everyone was working on 'wins' at that time & I just got lucky.) Have another of the same task to go,...... Players just can't control wins or losses,... that's 'why' you play a game not a 'goal' within a game (if that makes any sense)...... Casual players, even not so casual players - with jobs, won't have the time to even attempt to finish this event,... and yes,.. they are the ones with the cash to actually put money on a game when they like it.... o.O I guess for me this event just epitomizes Pixonic,... a good idea, very badly executed. =/

If people choose to work towards those prizes awesome, if not then take the extra gold and buy something you do like. I would hate to see everyone running around in a rog just because it was something easy everyone could win. I am that person that has a job and might not play every day. I just save up for the stuff I want over time. I hope people get a better understanding after this event that beacons plus kills makes for a better game experience, because when you go for just one, things start to fall apart.

Also if kills are giving you a hard time, try an Aphid Gepard. I have a ll 8 Gepard with lvl 9 Aphids and he's great for taking kills away from others. Yeah I started kill stealing. I was sick of others stealing MY kills constantly, and decided if you can't beat em, join em. I got 10 kills a match sometimes for doing this, other times 7 or 5.

And there are no means to say "I'm going for the kill count, don't interfere", so no hard feelings here. But whole Aphid Gepard thing is a little bit.. tricky. To me it looks like advice: "Well, if you are playing for WINs, then just drop in your 12 lvl Ancilot with 12 lvl Tarans, and you will be fine" =) Aphid is a gold weapon, and so is Gepard; And to get them to lvl 9 is taking time, so I think people who has them - understand that it's suitable for kill count; And if you don't have them - it's not a good idea to buy some for the event - you spend a lot of money and might not get those upgraded anyways.

You're right, maybe this bit will be better: Get a salvo type weapon (pinata, orkan, pin, Tulu etc.) And understand how much damage it does to each type of robot in your league. After that, tag along close to a strong ally (I tag along with Leos, Griffs, Rhinos and anyone else with Thunders or big plasma weapons. Stay in cover and wait until the enemy has a sliver of health before striking. If you have 2-3 Hydras on your bot (3 for Fujin) you can use those to finish off weak bots. The trick is to be VERY aware both of how much damage you deal a second, and the rate in which the enemy's health is draining. I just found weapons who's damage is dealt instantly rather than through multiple shots to be the most effective. This can include Trebuchets as well. I haven't used them for killing, but I know I've had kills taken from me by an ally using a Trebuchet from the other side of the canyon, or springfield, or any other large map.

Wow, that's a decent one! And also don't forget about Thunder, I found out the hard way that a little unstable 3G connection might steal a lot of kills with sharp-shooting weapons like Taran\Treb\Gekko\ etc. But with Thunder\Splash\Molot\Punisher type weapons those little "teleporting" bots are getting hit anyways.

It took me 3 hours 5 minutes to get the Stalker last night. This was for the last task, get wins. I forgot, maybe 9? Very very hard, and I won't give up. If you do the math, that's 9 wins x 50% win percentage x 10 minutes a game = 9 x 2 x 10 = 18 x 10 = 180 = 3 hours.

I'm on this almost all day long, whenever I have free time: Smart people are saying that you need to squad up for this.

Now I need to Win 21 games and the Orkan is mine P-) For the Rogatka it will be hard 212 Kills, 170 beacons, 27 Win battles <_< Hah! At least today we are fighting for the same prize. Not like the last week, when you were 1~3 prizes ahead of me =)

Finished rog around 4:30 pm EST. squad'd the whole way except the beacon tasks which depending on the needs of the squad mates made sense to play or sometimes solo. One of my clan mates did the whole challenge in 2.5 days. He did this by choosing short maps only. What a grind. Good luck everyone.

Not like the last week, when you were 1~3 prizes ahead of me =) Yeah I am not in a hurry since we have another weekend for the Rog task :) Playing in a nice leisurely pace. =) 2:21 Ahaahah :D Those tv show awaken my memories of good old IT tv shows I've seen. And now I finally recalled how do I see other players who are usually looking at those red and blue beacon lights:

Now I can just work to get the Stalker and be done with it. Though I do have enough chips to buy it myself. I usually collect the gold and buy something I really want. Last time it was the Medium Knight of Camelot. Forgot it's name. Had to switch it out with Leo to increase my kills. But might switch it in instead of Rhino just to see if it works better or not. Might go for Orkan if I can that'll be handy with the Rog.

I wish profiles showed how much time we've played daily, weekly, and total (since our first day playing). The weekly activity points don't count. I would like to see those stats especially during events to see how much time the winners put in.

Even if you had enough, then go for the silver. This is one of the rare times where you can get free silver, which is more important.
