Hi everyone,
I was just looking at my hangar today and experimenting with different setups and robots. I just couldn't find the right hangar and one I would enjoy playing. My game style is short range and a real in your face kind of setup. But I need damage and health robots in my hangar.
I am in diamond three on iOS so I'm versing some mid levelled Galahad and lancelots including other strong robots. I have 4 hangar slots and am slowly working to the fifth.
My main robots which I could use are: Gareth Rhino Leo x2 Griffin x3 Carnage
I also have other robots but aren't levelled at the level needed (lvl 7-9) so I won't bother listing them.
my weapons I have are: taran x4 magnum x4 trident x2 thunder x2 (lvl 7) hydra
all of these weapons are level seven seven and eight (except the tridents are lvl 6).
If you have any hangar ideas plz post them below and any other tips.
thank you

Ty Golden Sabre The only problem is I am very low on gold so the 5 slot and Galahad is gonna take a long time. What about saving for 2 orkans then 5 slot then maybe ancile and I could place that on a Leo until I can save for a galahad and Lancelot?

I hv 5 slot and my hanger has following bots Stalker (becon running) Carnage 2zeus (for range and as support bot) Plasma Griffin (I love it most) Leo thunder/pinata(short range/Flanking) Rhino ork/mag(becon liberate)
I setup my hanger by having following things in my mind-- Robot which will perform better in each map For Becon To counter opposite team robot Bots I can afford at current level And most important thing that I m having fun with my current setup or not

samoo1 a few thoughts Short-range in-your-face fighting style has been good for you thus far, but your current level (breaking into D league, bots/weaps 7~8) is opportune time to add more skills to your playstyle. Using abilities wisely, flanking, baiting opponents, knowing when to sacrifice etc. and a skilled pilot will need a more balanced hangar. That being said, my immediate thoughts on your inventory is that you need more splash - tulumbas, pins, orkans, pinatas. If you are not good with those, strongly recommend you to practice as they form a cornerstone of a balanced hangar. Until you're able to get more resources for premium platforms (be it galahad or dash bots when they become available), below is my suggestion for your 4 slot hangar if you want to maximize dmg: - Plasma gary (taran, mag) for beacon capping and close-combat - Thunder carny for flanking and dealing dmg. Being a glass cannon and being effective to non-shield bots only, this guy forces you to be more situationally aware - Plasma griff (2x taran, 2x mag) not my preferred griff setup but it deals a lot of dmg and you get wiser with the jump - RDB griff (2x tulumbas, 2x pins) you didn't list these weaps, but they are dirt cheap (all Ag) and at L7+ very effective (more than your 2x tridents). Almost every high-level player has a set even if they don't use it If you prefer to put tridents on your carny, replace the RDB griff with a short-range platform. Thunder-pinata leo is OK. In any case, 1 range setup is enough.

Thank you everyone for your ideas and I am sure I will now improve my hangar on these tips. My now current hangar is: Plasma Gary Plasma griffin Thunder carnage RDB griffin
I might change the hangar at times for more of a variety of play but this will be my main hangar.

Use a Plasma Rhino. It lasts longer than a Plasma Griffin.

Only if you are good at driving rhinos. If you drive a Rhino like I do, stick with the Griffin.

In any case, 1 range setup is enough. Solid advice and I'd go with this also. You'll want to work towards the fifth slot and Orkans. Golems are also great at your level (pinata/orkan/thunder or taran/magnum/thunder, or pin/tulumba/trident) as are Boas and Leos. I like the Golem as you can use it straight out the door with only a single Orkan. You can buy that then work to the 5th slot then come back for the 2nd Orkan and retrofit either two Golems or a single Griffin depending on how your hangar looks with 5 slots now open. I believe the most painful thing for 4 slot players is not liking what they are upgrading... knowing that they have to switch to something better/Au weapon or bot at a later date. It's that background nagging of why am I wasting Ag on this 2nd rate bot/weapon? It's why I'm a big proponent of griffins and golems and to some extent fujins and carnages. Those bots either have the requisite slots (medium/light) that you can stick long term upgradeable weapons on OR they are bots that will last you through the game, while minimizing Ag waste. For a 4 slot hangar looking to work their way through the ranks 2 plasma griffins and 2 pinata/punisher(orkan)/thunder golems gives you a solid performing hangar while minimizing weapons that won't be upgraded. A solid alternate would be (leveraging your gary) Plasma Gary Plasma Griffin Punisher/Pinata/Thunder Golem Plasma Griffin You would have only 1 throw-away weapon (punisher mk2) and only 1 throw-away bot (golem). All other weapons and bots can be replaced onto better bots as you buy them. A top hangar that you could 'grow' into would be: Plasma Gary Plasma galahad Ancilot or Taran/Thunder Lancelot DB Griffin Stuka Griffin (aphids/orkans) If you go with the Thunder Lancelot you'll only be upgrading 3 replacer (1 extra taran, 1 extra magnum, and the golem). If you plan on using the Ancile, that will be only 4 items that need to be replaced. Nearly everything will be re-used. You can also 'over-level' incorrectly level items to maximize levels on long term bots/weapons (i.e. the first 4 tarans can go all the way, while the fifth stays at level 7 or 8 until you get the gold to replace the bot). But B30RLL's suggestion is still spot on! Dejnov.
