Anyone get this to work? I tried and when I run GLTools I get an ad video and then GLTools crashes (Unfortunately, GLTools has stopped). That happens a lot. If you look at the notes on XDA developer forum it says: Not working by design: RemixOS Emulators of any kind Definitely does not work in Remix (I'm so close to getting this to work..actually it's great if your not recording) Surprised it works in NOX/Memu. Just keep hitting back when the adds pop up & going back in when it crashes. You will be able to do it a lot quicker once you get used to it & it saves your change as soon as you make it so it doesn't matter if it crashes. The app that crashes is just a GUI. GLTools is a driver proxy that runs as a service & it's persistent. If you guys hang in there I am working on an advanced video for tuning memu for your PC (with cool monitoring apps!) & I will be focusing on & possibly chronicling my Remix OS project that has had me away from the game (and everything else) for the past week . You will see in the memu video I will make that it crashes. I edited it out of the last one & in hindsight, I should have mentioned it. I wasn't sure if it was just on my system so I did not want to unnecessarily complicate the tutorial. Now that I know it's common I'll make sure to cover it in the next Memu vid I do, TY for the bug report!

Also if you need help please include your CPU/RAM/Video Card & if possible system Make/model or motherboard model if it is custom built Memu performance is not as simple as raw power unless you have a monster system. I only have an early gen dual core/HT i3, 4GB ram & a crappy HD5450 AMD video card. It's a Dell optiplex office computer so it has "0" performance options like quick sync & even the ATI card doesn't offer HW acceleration like it should. At least it has really good virtualization support because it is an enterprise class workstation. Piece of crap for games though lol.

A Remix setup run so much better, the controls are not without their own quirks but I prefer them to the ones in memu. Just setting it up to play is pretty straightforward & you can easily dual boot with windows. Because it's running on PC hardware & the display is a monitor not a hard wired screen, enforcing a correct 16:9 resolution & video recording is another story & I could not find any information on the topic & it required compiling information from various sources & a lot of nerddery to make it happen. If you are not tech inclined I would recommend sticking with Memu, for those that are interested in trying this out a full write up & tutorial video will follow soon.
What is great about this is it is running on a wimpy i3 with 4GB RAM & ON BOARD VIDEO WHILE RECORDING!
this same system was having a hard time running memu & recording with OBS or Bandicam in windows, cut out the middle man & run Android directly on the PC is the way to go!

Anyone get this to work? I tried and when I run GLTools I get an ad video and then GLTools crashes (Unfortunately, GLTools has stopped). It seems the app checks over the internet and closes because it sees you are running an emulator. I have found if I disable my internet it doesn't crash or load adds and I make the changes and close it before turning the internet back on. Try that & let me know if it works for you too.
