Hasn't the image of the Douche-Gems been around for a while but never implemented?
Pixonic have pretty much been "phoning it in" for the past few years anyway so one more currency or item that is not necessary or wanted won't hurt.
Drone rework, pilot rework, executioner module, boosters rework, MK3 doritos and the list goes on and on.

new currencies seem to be a moot point .....since everything can be bought with money anyways
logged in just now for the first time today to find D-gems , thinking 「whiskey tango foxtrot」 are d-gems , second thought ....not another f'ing currency....yawn

Like Wolfblood said, I do not think there necessarily is a cause for alarm here. This currency has existed for a while as means of bypassing the war sanctions. Russian players can buy them and then redeem them for in-game content in an off-game website. warrobots.com/en/posts/357I guess Pixonic is just rolling them out on a larger scale or making them easier to access. Maybe some sinister plot is afoot here, but nothing too concerning quite yet in my opinion. |

The game needs a currency exchange where you can freely convert your silver/gold/platinum/memorium/microchips/degenrate-gems from one to the other - at the correct dollar value and not some 100,000 Ag gets 1 Au type rip-off.
But the thing I wish they'd make better the most is pilot searching/selection.

It's not a currency. Forget that concept right now. It's to prevent players getting refunds from Apple, Google or financial institutions linked to CC purchases. You buy the new currency to buy anything.... Meta bot, weapons, Titans.... Everything. When it gets nerfed to hell, no refunds. You didn't buy a robot you bought the cubes to buy "stuff". And here you all were thinking it's a new currency.... It's a fantastic business model, a conduit that flows money in only one direction, ceases refunds and continues the fantastic extortion of money from the "must have" player base.
And we get a cute new little icon.

But i am extremely biased and might actually make up numbers and statistics after all my time with the game just to drive a point home regarding them |
