Haven't spent in 3 months or so.... Was pretty proud of myself. Ive had some bucks on my google account for awhile with nothing really to allocate it to. So... Yesterday i bought a purple gold pad...figuring since i could use any of the items ....hard to go wrong. I got a seeker drone.
Today im like ok what the hell..ill give it one more go...even tho I'm low on rss to do anything with what i may get... But the money is burning a hole in my pocket. I get a seeker drone..... Annoying... Im like damn i hate you pixonic..... One more ....... Another seeker drone. This 「dookie」 aint by accident... Frustration technique at work.
Such a great game...run by the epitomy of greed. I am saddened at how the world works nowadays and that this is the norm and only will get worse as AI and the algorythms get better at extracting the most out of each player.
I really wish for a competitor to this game. It is the best of its kind but the issues are glaring and its just about money.... Which i suppose is fine....except beyond the money....for me the issue is it is clearly rigged and cheating of all types is allowed and encouraged.

I hear you brother. I got my first award in what was then Walking War Robots April, 27 2015. I guess you can say I'm a veteran of this game. Played FTP for a long time, graduated to VIP Pass only and then some more semi- serious spending as I chased the Meta and Leagues. Nothing crazy like some of the folks you see but I treated this like any other form of entertainment (movies, a cold pint of beer etc.) so was happy to spend for my enjoyment. I think I have seen the evolution (De-evolution) of the Meta from start to, what was for me, the finish. Been in clans (MUNKEEEE and I ran with USMC for a while...) and over the last few years ran solo. Since the great re-balance in ~2019 I've really seen this game go down hill. My spending REALLY tapered off to only bots that REALLY caught my eye... probably the last one being the Ardent Imungi with Lasers.... so cool. The complete NUKE of my prized Freeze Laser Fafnir also stuck in my craw. I began to REALLY see, what you have laid out above, that this this was not a game for players or fan base but a rigged, gambling, cash only scam. I know a lot of folks find their niche with a certain level of Bot/ Game Play and that is great for them but for me... I could not abide. I value my time and money and this was just not a space I could exist in. I guess about 4 months ago I just completely STOPPED. Done. Finished. FU Pix and the horse you rode in on! (No bitterness from me!! ) Have not deleted the game from my iPad in the (unlikely) hope that there is some change in ownership or other step improvement in War Robots. Highly doubtful. Still check in on this forum few times a week as I find the writing comments and videos pretty fun to watch. Also, impressed so many can find a happy spot with this game that I could not. I've made this comparison before and I'll do it again. Clash of Clans is a huge game in terms of players and longevity. I've got my own Clan and run in Legend League. For CoC new content releases occurs ~6 months or so. Reasonable mix of new, balanced content and IMPROVEMENTS in quality of life. I don't ever remember a seriously OP release that was followed by endless NERF's and BUFF's. Does not happen. You can buy a monthly Challenge for $5 to $6 which is largely some spells, loot and a skin. Nothing that is going to upset the game. I'm HAPPY to support the game/ Developers with buying some skins now and again. My point here is War Robots does not have to be a Cheating Scam. It could easily be a highly successful, money making business without HOSING the players. This is a GANGSTER choice on the part of PIX. Anyway... did not mean this to be a monologue but your points touched a nerve. For the doubters:

TerrorStorm said it spot on. I really questioned myself when the ultimate spiders came out. Few yrs back with THAT in game economy, I might have made a run for them. Now, I drooled over them for a few brief moments, read posts and answered questions for up and coming spider users. But I never thought much of it until I found one in a match. Tough to take down, but they still fall. But I play so randomly now and only a match or two. NOTE* 90% of any munkeeee sightings in game unless notified here or in time drops is my 13 yr old nephew bored from his games* That 10% is me just bored with staring at my butthole in the mirror so why not see how quick I can die in a match

I began to REALLY see, what you have laid out above, that this this was not a game for players or fan base but a rigged, gambling, cash only scam. I know a lot of folks find their niche with a certain level of Bot/ Game Play and that is great for them but for me... I could not abide. ... I think once you discover for yourself that it is rigged you either move on to another game or just add that to your understanding. The part that really irks me is not dealing with hackers.
The gambling part was evident for me from the very start. Everything about the black market chests has always been gambling and nothing else. In the beginning there were patterns that could be exploited, then there was the very much less than random prizes from black market chests. That was good for a while but now that we have customized random events, it is very much tipping back towards rigging it on an individual scale.
Maybe games on the Apple AppStore and Google Playstore need to come with warnings like "This app includes gambling" or some such so that it is clear to the public at large what's going on.
Is it a scam? I think that's going a bit too far.
Finally, I don't call Pixonic "Putonic" for nothing.

I think it is a scam. When offered six prizes and i got the same prize repeatedly. The odds ended... Cuz i stopped at 65 million to one. I feel that the odds need to be displayed so pixo cant dial em up and down. Also... Nerfing... This OP/nerf cycle is not done in this manner in other games and imo is another form of fraud as the "rebalances" have no perameters. Ie changes of 50%. That is not an adjustment..... 10 or 15% is an adjustment.
Pixo takes advantage of the " international waters" of the digital realm.
Im shocked and dismayed that my country lags so far behind in laws that the straight up fraud is allowed to continue. I also worry about generations that feel this is normal and acceptable.
Everyone should make up their own mind. I seek to debate, educate, hear and give counter opinions.
