As usual, the “Superior” new robot needs to handicap its enemies and requires extra help via a series of pilots and drones so that the paint doesn’t scratch. In addition, the skill required to pilot(?) the new bot decreases at an alarming rate. In the coming future, matches will be decided prior to any deployment and eventually, no actual combat will take place.

We just select our characters and the animations take over from there. There's a fake sense of pressing some items on the screen to make it look like you are in control.

Solid take for sure, and probably true for the majority of meta humpers chasing the next thing. Mindless pursuit of illusion can be manipulated fairly easily IMO
