yea, asking folks out there to have honor is like pulling teeth, no one wants to do it.
but its a noble thought.
Edit*** not being a downer, just honest. We cant even get folks to do a no spending month, let alone organize anything of value for the playerbase. Whales escluded of course.

This, in a way, exemplifies the dark side of the “play for yourself” mentality we all subscribe to. If people (somehow) enjoy annihilating the entire enemy team in game after game in an Ochotoki, they are totally in their right to do so by our logic. In an ideal world, the meta would not be super overbearing and the free to play could somewhat compete with the spenders, but that unfortunately is long behind us. I never play for any sense of pride or honor, so for better or for worse, I do not expect anyone else to do the same.

I approve of what you're doing here.
It doesn't matter if everyone else ignores your honorable play. You're making the game more fun for yourself and others. I don't see your actions as any different from using off-meta weapons or bots. Does BB care that he could see his ranking rise if he abandoned his beloved Rog Squad? I know I don't care when I run my beloved scavenger griffin instead of a random meta bot..

I can't be the only guy who finds it unfun to literally be an unkillable god its a total ego thing. Its saying hey, i wanna play team sports, but i wanna be the captain AND be top kid. Another thing too is there may be thousands of folks on this forum, but look at the number that interacts and posts vs all the silent ones. Even if we include the discords and reddit folks, thats still a very small number of folks available to and for the info provided here. |

Most just like dominating the others. Thats their fun.
But this argument will be academic when the price of pads falls to something like 50c per purple pad in a few weeks time and Ochos will be everywhere. The early adopters are just reaping the rewards on their relatively premium investment.

Great point about THE CHALLENGE, that’s all I play for now, everything else is just a cheap sideshow to me. Especially the Ocho Cinco, which will be nerfed in a few short weeks. Rinse and repeat

079 . Nice vid. I have an unleveled Ochokochi and an unleveled Ophion. Eventually I’ll level the but I’m still kinda meta surfing with my Morning Crew. Wins, especially in the evening are taking a hit but not hugely so. I still feel vaguely sooty for the guys with 5 Ochokochies. “Have you learned nothing in the past couple years?!? Hello? Nerf hammer?”
