So it's kinda perplexed me how silver is earnt for damage, it's not quite half, it's modified by a few conditions and math ain't mah strong point.
What's the formula for earning silver?

I believe it's...
Kills and beacons(5%)+damage done(?-75%)+rank in the scoreboard(?-20%)=100% + 50% if you won
P.s. Kills and beacons does have specific amounts of silver but I forgot how much.

They've not published the exact formula but these are the factors: damage dealt, beacons capped, win or lose, -repair cost, premium or non premium account.

You know I'm kinda amazed that with all the creative geniuses we have in WarRobots (the ones who work out how to game the system, calculated odds, mapped out teams and all sorts of crazy things). I think it is 5k per beacon capped, 5k per beacon liberated, damage dealt (magical formula), critical hits dealt (based on enemy equipment level), kills bonus (10k I think/ kill) - repair cost. I have tested the beacons before and those are the only things I can vouch for.

I was researching this the other day and what greyghost said is spot on. There was also discussion that relative robot and weapon levels are a factor and the possibility that knocking off weapons has a bonus.

I have tested the beacons before and those are the only things I can vouch for. Yes... critical hits are probably the x factor we don't usually have calculated in... I saw in the old videos that the results page used to list how much you made according to what you did... I imagine that formula is still the same.

Reviewing the posts above, some of the formulas have a BIG X FACTOR!
I will start looking at the summary screens. I think it would be easy enough looking for trends in Ag payout relative to: Overall damage - base line at ave damag
Review variance in: # kills # beacons
Look at net and track damage taken.
Might give an indication the impact of kills & beacons to Ag payouts.

From what I understand it's more complicated than just total damage, kills, beacons. The level of your weapon used to inflict damage and the level of the bot it hits is a possible factor so you need to pin down every hit and levels to untangle the equation.
I'm not familiar with regression analysis but if it accounts for unknown variables then it might give a good estimation.
I was thinking of doing experiments like letting 1 bot be killed by one specific red then wait till the results to see the levels of the red and the repair cost. But doing that now risks being put in the leaver queue. Maybe through several single 1 on 1 matchups, fighting back or not, with various weapons and bots of various levels will reveal the equation.

The more I upgrade my bots,the more the repair bill gets stingy.
Keep your bots low and your damage high.Or use a Plareth(plasma+gareth)

Seriously, a few months back a bunch of us on the old forum made a real effort to figure it out and we got nothing.
Not kidding about the total failure - near as we could tell, you actually lose silver per kill. Which cannot be right.
So we shrugged and gave up.

Yes. Damage matters, but appears to be influenced by some combination of the level/size of your weapon and bot vs the level/size of the target bot. Repair cost is much easier to isolate (if you like) but it certainly did not appear that the silver reward someone gets for damaging you has any relation to what you pay to fix it.
